Minus the one long run from Fournette after our 4th down turnover where Reid took a bad angle and LF ran by him, Reid played REALLY good.

He’s so under appreciated around here.

even some of the folks here who didn't want him bad because of kneeling... have come around and said they were wrong.  its getting a little better.   well except that one dude who freaks out because he doesn't cause a fumble every time he's involved in a play

That’s @Harbingers

Cockrell gets dragged 20 yards and it’s Eric Reid’s fault lol

Sadly I can see this going on for much longer than just after the bye. A second concussion so soon after the first usually means the recovery is longer and then the doctors will want to give it as much time as possible so a repeat scenario doesn’t occur.

All concussions are different. There have been players who get 3+ concussions in a short period of time, came back from them in a few weeks and then were completely fine after that. And then others like Oher who get 1 concussion and are done...

He’s had his share of issues along with many of our players at times but yeah that was one of his better games as a Panther after a solid game against the Texans. Still would feel better about him back there if we had a legit FS, and also want to see him blitz more like we did with Mitchell in 2013. That’s one of his strengths.

I thought we never even knew for sure when it occurred...? There was a play people pointed to in the Vikings game but he played the next game and no one knew for sure that it was that play?

Pretty sure it was the play the dlineman stepped on his head. Mike tried to hide it apparently. Then it just became really serious. It’s one of the saddest things I’ve seen happen to a player and nobody talks about it much. He was playing at a very high level. And then done.

Still sour about that? Keep holding that grudge.

If you remember correctly, I comment on the fact Reid had a wide open target to punch the ball out. Not what happened before, not what happened after.

go Q_Q more.

I've heard he's had extreme lasting effects from that concussion. It's never been mentioned publicly as he's a very private guy.
