I'm surprised he wasn't there with his foot on one of those scooters for foot injuries decked out in his own distinctive style. I think flame jets and an air horn would suffice for celebrations. I figure as energetic as he is about game day, he might have tried to convince the doctors to let him cruise around the sidelines. 

Not going to lie, I'd like to see him there to be able to help show KA things he may be missing because of lack of experience, but if he was ordered off of his foot then follow dr's orders and work on getting back to 100%.

Agree with those who say if Cam can't stand in a walking boot for 3 hours on the sidelines, it seems unlikely he will be starting a game in a little over 2 weeks.

I can't find any posts insinuating anything negative about Ryan Kalil for not being on the sidelines following his Lisfranc injury.

I wonder why that is?

It's almost as if there is a narrative being pushed by stupid people...

Anyone who is silly enough to believe this is doctor ordered need to ask why Greg was allowed on the sideline with his broken foot. 

Also 3 hours of standing is too much? Ok, go sit in a box with the owner or Charles Johnson who are always at the game. If he can’t stand on it for 3 hours at a time in a boot then he isn’t close to coming back and will be gone for the year. 
 

Concussion or head injuries are the ones I understand as noise, light etc can affect those. Also IR players won’t be there like Short. 
 

I’m one of Cams biggest fans. I have two jerseys of his, bobble heads, a painting etc of him for my office, but this is more than a foot. I don’t blame him if he doesn’t want to play any more for health and personal reasons. But decide, which isn’t smart for him if he wants to get paid the contract.

Cam Newton loves football and wants to win more than anyone on the field. He's a generational talent at the QB position, and he plays for the Carolina Panthers.

If you are a fan of the Carolina Panthers football team, yet you take every opportunity to knock the guy for his fashion, not being on the sidelines per doctor's orders, playing injured, his hair, his speech, or whatever else you want to knock him for, then it doesn't leave many other options on the table.

You can criticize the process this year and being present and not criticize anything else and not be a racist. 
 

I’m not a racist and support him, but I’m a fan and everyone is on here (short for fanatic). We are all passionate and root for the team and the players, but people feel burned or disappointed when things don’t go their way or how they expect. 
 

I will eat my crow is cam comes back and balls out this year but I’m in the skeptic boat for this year due to injuries.
