So this is good? Or we won’t talk about it because it’s a W?

We should have hung a 40 burger on them. We did win by 2 scores, and by double digits. Is that not enough?

TB has a pretty good front 7. It's not like we thought we could steam roll them. Or at least I don't think many folks thought that.

The last two turnovers were at the end of the game where we didn't try to do too much.  Just running the clock out.  I have no problem with those in a two possession game under 2 minutes.

20 points on the other 5 isn't bad.  Two short field tds and 2 fgs.

Our investments in the defense are paying dividends as they should be. Especially with a defensive mind in place like Rivera for as long as he has been here. This is what we are supposed to be seeing. We need to maintain that for the season now.

New England is New England, we don't have Tom Brady. He controls that offense on the field and knows how to keep the chains moving and keep Top better than any other QB playing.

Lmao really? Baltimore? I mean sure if you closed your eyes and ignored them after week 2 but their offense has struggled since and they've been putting up close games. They almost lost to Pittsburgh last week.

Kansas City *is* their offense. They *need* to score high. They are built around scoring high. And even then, look at the last two weeks.

Dallas, again, lol. Look at who they played the first 3 weeks. A combined 3 wins amoungst them and that's because two of those teams they beat are playing each other today.

I feel like I'm repeating myself here but Philly didn't even "put away teams" in their super bowl season. They sure as fug aren't doing it now.

Sean Peyton is easily the second best coach behind Bellicheck.  And even he doesn't go into attack attack attack mode like you (and a lot of people) seem to think. He plays the clock very well.

I get it. It's nerve wracking. But it's a common trend in the NFL. No one just runs up the score and goes into kill mode with every turnover.

    • The team wore down and shots stopped falling.  Ball, Miller and Kon have to play well.  At least 2 of the 3.  2/16…0/6. That ain’t gonna cut it.     If Bridges and White are the only ones hitting from 3, it’s not gonna go well.  The 3’s make Moose and Kalk work.  No 3’s it gets too crowded for them with all the bodies crashing the boards.    (Kalk needs to add strength, something awful tho.)
    • Was at the game and NYCFC honestly outplayed CLT the whole way.  Khalina and Zaha carried the team.  Zaha's wife on IG making it sound like he's gone come July. They're going to have to pay him or find a big time replacement because the team looks like pretty lost without him.
    • No one's saying LaMelo has no blame we're responding to you acting like he's the reason they lost. The scapegoating and blaming the teams woes on his personality is where it's like Cam Newton all over again. It was a failure on multiple fronts and primarily Lee's. Dude said ON AIR pregame that they had to protect the paint and if that was his gameplan going in he couldn't have botched it more. As the commentators said Ball's a rhythm guy and Orlando was preventing him for getting any kind of flow going. I'm a normie watching on TV and said they needed to bait them into fouling to combat that. They didn't even try until the 2nd half when it was too late. I think it's fair to expect the star to overcome whatever but LaMelo was not the problem in that game and he's not what is holding the team back. He's the only reason they're flirting with being a great team. I kinda put the center play on Lee too. Moose is great until he's up against a big who can body him. We've always known that and that's what Kalkbrenner is for. I don't know if it would have changed much but Kalkbrenner should have had more minutes than him.  And moving forward with the center position, I just think it's the time to trade Diabate while his stock's high and that's not an indictment of his game. He's like an evolved combination of Biyombo and PJ. He's a great rim protector and the strength issue is just what you're going to have to deal with if you want that. But Kalkbrenner is perfectly capable of protecting the rim and we gotta get away from the undersized centers or it'll always be a problem for us.
