Panthers won't trade Cam Newton

A) A healthy Cam Newton is still possible. If that can happen, he is better than the majority of NFL QBs.

B) Cam has been 90% of the identity of the Panthers for so long, trading him would take a HUGE chunk of the fan base away. If anything (big if) they offer him a smaller contract and let him choose to leave. At least that way it was his decision ultimately.

C) I am not positive Cam passes any physical any time soon to be traded. Not just the foot, the shoulder too.

He can’t pass a physical to be traded, but he’s almost 100% healthy. Something is off there.

Wouldn’t offer any kind of money until he plays a full season healthy, or comes back and takes us deep in playoffs.

There is no reason to trade him before knowing what he has left. Just need to be patient.

Trading him loses Cam fans not a big loss for a Panther fanbase. Those are fickle fans and will come and go building a true fanbase takes a trophy and consistent winning not a single player (exception being the Browns).

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
