Really wish we could've gotten another year on the McCoy deal.

Who says that hes not going to resign here for the last few years of his career?  Also, we could be moving on from KK after this year, so that would open up more money to resign McCoy.

Absolutely no way KK gets cut. We have had so many threads explaining why. You cannot replace KK for the 3 million cap savings you would get.

Hurney messed that up by pushing money down the road.

Discussing this in another thread.  To cut KK would cost us 8.5 per season over the next two in dead money, and only free up 3M for next season.  If we can sign Butler to a deal worth 3M....then yea, maybe we cut KK, but he is likely to make a lot more than that.

We are quickly finding ourselves old at the DT position if we keep KK (likely), try to get another year out of McCoy, and keep Love.

Easy...cut Poe...trade Cam.  It may be hard to believe but that discussion will have to be had.  Teams resetting with cheaper QB is better option than tearing everything down and rebuilding from scratch with a QB going on his third contract. Nothing lasts forever, especially if a reasonable replacement is in place.  This will play itself out by the end of the season.

If we cut Poe, NT will be a huge need.

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
