Cam doesn’t seem ready to go...

This clearly says he wants to play here, if you read it any other way you are inventing something.

Also if Cam can be supportive of Kyle why can't this forum?

I don’t think anyone isn’t hoping for a KA failure. Those more supportive of KA do drag down and demean Cams impact on the team though

Cam is the f'ing GOAT.  IDGAF.  Forever the greatest, transcendent talent we ever had.  Our first and only MVP.  He deserves nothing but the best.  I just hope we don't see him in another uni.

He certainly deserves a whole lot more and better than the hate this fan base gives him

Kudos to Cam.

He is taking the high road and keeping it classy while dealing with potentially career ending injuries.

Honestly can’t name a single player that didn’t have off field issues that has been more scrutinized than Cam Newton.  Starting from the pre-draft window.

Dude has handled it all fantastic big picture.  He will never get credit for it because few outside have ever been open to seeing what he clearly is

I don't actually think there are that many people that want to see him go. A few, but not a lot.

There are a lot of people however who acknowledge that it's likely to happen. And whether you want it to  not, there's nothing anybody here can do about it.

My take as always is that I just want to win. I feel bad for players that don't accomplish their goals, but the team is still what matters the most.

I am with you on the winning part. I have always been a Carolina Panthers fan first and foremost.

This whole situation is unprecedented in team history. And I understand there are more variables that point to Cam not being here next year than not.

I know you remember what this team was like from 2009-2011. And even though I have been impressed with Kyle Allen given my initial thoughts on his ceiling, I still think he is more Matt Moore than even Jake Delhomme.

And certainly not Cam Newton.

It has become easy to take having a franchise QB for granted.

The alternative sucks.

Yeah, I don't wish him anything but healing and perfect health from here on out.  But, I didn't want to bring up the possibility of him playing elsewhere either...  If he's healthy enough to play, I want him to.  But, man, that's gonna hurt to see him elsewhere...  but wherever he ends up, that will likely be my second favorite team (but my God, please don't let it be in the division).

The Cam situation and the rise of social media giving stupid people a public voice made it clear why Peppers didn’t want to stay after his first stint. Even when came back in 2017 he still lived in Florida

I've described Newton before as that friend that you understand but a lot of people don't.

Reading this and I'm getting the exact opposite from what the people who want him gone are saying. This says the opposite of a good bye. It sounds like he's telling you he loves Charlotte and the Panthers then pause. I WILL WORK HARDER AND ALL THAT FOR YOU GUYS@THE PANTHERS. AND FOR KYLE ALLEN. But if you listen to Scot and the others.. sounds like he's saying goodbye lol lol lol lol.

The 2009 and 10 seasons were probably John Fox's fault more than anybody else's.

Right now I'm leaning toward has having new leadership next year and rebuilding. Yeah, that sucks, but if you're going to have to do it anyway better to start now than wait till later.

It's a really good comparison. It's baffling how much I've been compelled to defend such a talented player to people who want to portray him as a marginal talent.
