This is one of the best things anyone has ever said, ever.

It might be completely original, but ask Kungfoodude if he’s ever read Douglas Adam’s Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy. Adams has a joke about building spaceships powered by bad news because it’s the only thing that travels faster than the speed of light.

Not to cast aspersions because I might have mined Adams work for a few joke concepts myself.

I have read it but YEARS ago. It was just a stream of consciousness thought. Perhaps it rattled loose from some dusty, cobweb filled corner that remembered that book, however. I don't know.

Honestly, what else can he do right now? Is there a GM on the street who can magically draft guys in November or find Kurt Warner bagging groceries? It’s mid season so unless there’s a coaching candidate sitting on his ass, there’s not much to do right now except play the last 7 games and evaluate.

The non-football stuff he can control and work on so why is it so bad that he is doing that? People complain about Spartanburg (not me, have a feeling the fan interactions go away) and practicing in a ball room and he’s fixing that quickly.

Just wanna add to this that Tepper is a highly successful hedge fund manager. The skill set required to do that well includes the ability to juggle all kinds of tasks and information simultaneously. Doing the comparatively passive job in season of owning an NFL team while also working on development projects is not something that will tax his capacity  in the slightest. If anything I’d put money it’s comparatively simple. We do not have Joe Mouth Breather as an owner.
