The River haters, especially the ones still taking swings after he left, are little, little, small men.  They deserve to have to root for a team like the Bucs or Browns.

I will root for RR wherever he goes except  when he coaches against the Panthers.
I’d actually like to see what he could do with the Cowboys.

Same ones will turn on Tepper after there are 5 or 6 lousy seasons in a row.  I watched the Skins fans in Northern Va so excited about ole Danny boy only to turn against him after 10 $hitty years.....now it’s been 25 and they can’t wait for him to sell the team.

Saying Rivera is mediocre after 3 winning seasons in 9 years isnt taking a swipe at him. It’s stating facts. It’s actually a step up from saying he’s a trash head coach. Because 3 out of 9 is terribad.

its also hilarious this ickmule guy is singing Rivera’s praises after he leaves when this dude complains literally nonstop about how horrible this franchise is and how he doesn’t watch anymore. Well we just cut the head off the team that produced 3 winning seasons in 9 years.

Glad I provide you with some humor.   I’m not disappointed that RR is gone, but I’m not going to trash the man.  I’m also not going to trash talk other posters as you seem to do on the daily.  You need to find a hobby.

Oh, and this is still a bad franchise.....one day you may recognize that.

Saying Rivera is mediocre isn’t trashing him. Once again, it’s stating facts.

this is a poorly run franchise. I’ve never said it wasn’t. But we got a new owner with new ideas that this franchise has never had. There’s a reason to be cautiously optimistic that the old way of doing things is done here.

Well we found Ron's family's alt accounts.

I know you’re being tongue in check but frankly I doubt they bother. If I were an NFL head coach, one of the first things I would tell my family to do is ignore anything fan related online, especially forums. When you’re doing great everyone loves you anyway. Anything less than that and it’s almost nonstop bile and emotion that no one needs to see said about a family member.

I’m very “cautiously optimistic” mainly because so far Tepper has shown us nothing.  I realize that means little at this point, but I’m not impressed with how he carries himself....at least from what we have seen so far.  Again, that means nothing since we don’t have access to the behind the doors stuff, but I’m at an age where I won’t put myself out on a limb to be let down as we have been for 25 seasons sans a handful of good seasons.

I will continue to follow the team from afar and read this forum as I do hope that one day it can become a consistent winner and all of us can rejoice.   I remember the days when, as a Skins fan,  we had confidence the team was going to win every game, it would be nice for this franchise to field a team we can all feel that way about, sadly it has only done that 2 seasons out of 25.

I will say, I know I’m negative most often when it comes to this franchise, but the franchise has influenced that negativity for  most of its existence. I have tried to be more open minded and stay in the middle ground as of late, hoping that Tepper can build what he hopes to build.

i know right, his 70-47-1 record prior to cam getting hurt is so horrible. he truly kills everything he touches, keeping this team together through pure disaster and still managing a playoff win? what a horrible coach! he's been garbage his whole time here. send him to the guillotine!

Yea kind of gives you insight what what his record would be without Cam.

My guess is he wouldn’t have lasted as long as did without superstar Cam as his QB.

I am sure. I probably would if I had a family. But I have also worked with some people that were old students of my sister at a university. If the school comes up I will try and twist to conversation to find out if they were her students. Then I will see if they will talk poo about her before they know who I am, before revealing she is family. It is SOOOOOOOO fuging entertaining.

Then of course I tell my sister her students(never give names) are talking poo about her. It's great.

making the playoffs and winning a playoff game when your HC's house burned down and your QB got into a car crash in the same season is pretty impressive id say, but to each their own

Every season is a failure without a Lombardi to some people, because they don't understand the context around specific seasons

yeah it gives you insight about how headcoaches are when they dont have a franchise qb and have really bad or unprepared backups. cam was a superstar for one season he was here
