Ah yes, Ronald looking to ride the coat tails of superior talent for 8-9 years while simultaneously mismanaging injuries to franchise players and consistently underachieving while blaming the players (and their subsequent more serious injuries became of your ineptitude).

Loooots of speculation right now that Jerry Jones goes after Lincoln Riley.

It isn't hard to imagine. Jones is nothing if not bombastic.

Heck, Jones might figure that his best success came with a former college coach. Of course, this one might be more willing to listen to his suggestions (which Jones still apparently thinks have merit).

I peeked in on a Cowboys forum to watch them wallow in their misery over this season, and get their take on the coaching situation as well as Rivera.  It helps me get past my own misery.

The name I see most often coming up from them is Urban Meyer, although Riley is probably second.  I don't think they believe Riley is ready to leave Oklahoma.  All of this may be speculation on their part.

They generally like Rivera as a DC, but not as a HC.  They think he is just a defensive version of Garrett.  But, they do admit he is the kind of guy ole Jerrah might like: willing to let Jerrah be Jerrah and tinker and interfere, while he does what he does.  The downside for Rivera, other than being a borderline puppet, is they think that because Jerrah stuck with Garrett for a decade, the next coach is going to be on a much shorter leash.  Almost like he will be looking to can the guy after 2 or 3 years, just to prove his commitment to success.

Many also think Rivera is not glitzy enough for Jerrah to hire.  That would probably mean Meyer or Riley are in his sights.

Again, could all be speculation or it may be something they are reading or hearing there that I don't have insight to, nor do I want it.

So which of the good players on the Falcons would you describe as young? Put another way, which of the young players on their roster would you describe as good?

The only two that come to mind for me are Ridley and maybe that d bag McKinnley.

The young comment was in reference to the Browns, not the Falcons.

Of course we dont fit that description. We fired his ass. IM pretty surte he will go anywhere that will hire him and pay him millions per year. We all would

I’m even more desperate. I’d gladly coach your team into the cellar for the pittance of a mere one million dollars. If treated well and given benefits, I might even be persuaded to work for such a paltry sum for several years in a row.
