Honestly no idea what this means

he's alluding to the fact that posters here and the national media frequently bitched stupidly about Cam's sideline demeanor etc, but now people make excuses for similar behavior from Allen.  No idea if you did or not, I don't keep track of people's posts that well.

Oh I see...I don’t watch the media but I’ve honestly never seen Cam rip into teammates aside from a time or two. And I never heard any fans care...but I don’t know about the media, but do people really care or understand what/why they report? Seems like a waste of time.

QBs doing that was never a big deal to me. I’d rather them do that then what Clausen did and just not GAF.

If you mean the sulking I have heard fans complain about that, but never really cared about it.

The Fox sideline reporter said that he'd been sitting by himself and sulking. That by itself is not so terrible, but she also said that when he came off the field after making a mistake, Greg Olsen came over to try to encourage him and Allen blew him off.

That ain't good, especially when Olsen has been very supportive of him to this point.

Hmm sounds like he's been listening to the hype and brought into it as well.

Speaking as somebody whose pee-wee football coach taught me a lot of words my mother didn't really want me to know, I don't really have an issue with quarterbacks or coaches getting angry at teammates.

(granted, there are people like Harbaugh who overdo it)

What Allen did by blowing off Olsen though doesn't strike me so much as anger. It sounds more like what Charles Johnson was talking about, i.e. acceptance of defeat rather than fighting back. Maybe a bit of self-pity thrown in as well.

What have you seen to suggest that? The only metric we have to compare them by is preseason and Allen clearly played better than Grier did in preseason.

Yes. the zero touchdown drives that Allen produced in the preseason, coupled with his 0 turnovers, clearly proved that he is in no way, shape or form the turnover machine he has since proven himself to be

We invested in him.  Why put him in bad spots in a lost season when you don't need to?

Letting him play the last home game.

I fail to see how making his first start in a loud road game behind a bad OL is a great idea.

From what people are pointing out it's all Kyle Allen and has nothing to do with the Oline. So he should be good to go.

While Grier had a ton of turnovers, got sacked for holding onto the ball too long repeatedly, and didn't even bother running to try to make a tackle after a sack fumble when he was the closest guy to the ball. Now that's not to say Grier has no career ahead of him, but it was an absolutely brutal preseason performance.
