I'm also among the list of skeptics that anything of substance will be done. This, after all, the NFL's golden goose in a Patriot uniform. This team has been the recipient of the NFL's rules philanthropy so many times over the past 15 years that believing any meaningful discipline will occur is not a good bet.

If you don't think Tom Brady and Coach Bill have been on the receiving end of some fairly blatant favoritism over the years....

Given how "reasonable" I've found the average Patriots fan to be, I'd expect them to throw a massive fit if the team got even as much as a $10,000 fine.

Yeah they really punish the Pats real hard.  It’s getting difficult for Bill and Brady to wipe the tears with all those rings weighing them down.  Have you ever been scratched by a ring with 40 diamonds?  Owie, bro.  Owie.

My suggestion is that they move the Pats to Oakland for the next three years, now that the Raiders are gone.  I realize that playing at the Coliseum is pretty harsh and borders on draconian, but they deserve it.

Oh they're ready to throw a fit now. They see it as Godell hates them, & the NFL is constantly fishing to catch them cheating but can't... Yes, "can't".

I feel fairly certain you could show them video evidence coupled with confessions from all the parties involved and they'd probably either still deny it or try to make it out like it's not a big deal.

Denial isn't strong enough, I honestly don't know what the hell this is. 

Like I said, they think they've never been caught cheating. Brady, Belichick & co. just accepted punishments to move on. They think the refs are against them in every game.

I go to a Jets bar to watch football if I go out because hearing them cry about Brady never getting the call is like ear syphilis.

I always chuckle when guilty parties claim to have been unfairly targeted. Luke, yes we're guilty as charged but we still claim to be unfairly targeted. Wait... what?

In this case, it's even more absurd. They weren't even targeted by the NFL. They were turned in by a fellow team after getting caught red handed.
