I keep having random stuff pop into my head.

Remember when it was Rivera's goal to help Eric Washington eventually reclaim his spot as defensive coordinator?

Remember when Rivera was actually getting some chatter as coach of the year after a 4-2 start?

Strange thing is this team was 4-2 and  had just rolled Tampa in London. They had a bye  the following week and Kyle Allen looked pretty freaking good. From that point forward 1-8. Something happened internally and this team became one of the worst in the NFL. If you'd told me after London this team would finish  5-11 I'd said no way.  This has been one of the most disappointing teams if not the most in Panthers history. The teams with worser record lacked overall talent. This team lacked heart and coaching.

In alternate reality we have a power back who will get us a score on 1 yard line every time.  Besides that we need a big guy on D to stop the run.  Just run down their throats and stop the run, that will solve many of the losses.  Allen wouldn’t feel the pressure to pull a win out of the hat, slow and steady grind them down.

That is the team identity we always had and we need to return to it in the offseason.

Strange? Might be the third worst in team history honestly. 2001 and 2010 being arguably worse

As a whole 2010 was worse and 2001 was way worse. Those seasons were much much more unbearable to watch.

However there were parts of this team that were statistically worse and were just awful to watch.

Remember how we were so excited when Hurney signed Williams because nobody else wanted him?

How about Paradis, Elway said get out of Denver and we called him an idiot.

Action Jackson was supposed to be a superstar

McCoy was going to be destructive

Now we’re ending the season at 5-11, who knows what Cams future is, Ron is gone but Hurney isn’t and Tepper seems more worried about turning Charlotte into a mega-city and getting taxpayers to give him more money
