Why u up McCarthy's ass so much. We don't want a Rivera #2.

McCarthy has a ring ..

Aaron Rodgers doesn't get along with anyone, look at what former players have said about playing with him, Rodgers is a little bitch .. Rodgers wasn't performing up to snuff or was injured and it fell on McCarthy.

McCarthy is a great coach who can make an amazing offense.

Find me a better resume

He's coached in the NFL- Check

He's coaches special teams- check

He's coached defense (position coach at 2 positions on D)- check

He's coached QB's- check

He's coached offense (other position coach on offensive side)- check

He's been a HC- check

But let me guess some HC at a P5 school who puts up 45pts a game is the only resume's your looking for

Lol come on now. It ain’t like Baylor is a small school and it’s laughable you list he coached in the NFL.  He coached in the NFL for 1 season as an assistant OL coach.

I don't fully understand the Rhule hype, myself. Maybe somebody would be kind enough to explain it to me without being a snarky asshole but I doubt it. That being said...

As a Head Coach Matt Rule is 47 and 42. At Baylor he is 19-19. He is 1-1 in Bowl Games. He took over Baylor in 2017 and they were ineligible for a bowl game for the first time in 8 years. When he was with the Giants he wasn't even the Offensive Line Coach, he was the ASSISTANT Offensive Line Coach. Then I go check his coaching page and see he signed a contract extension in 2015 to keep him at Temple through 2021 and then a year later in December he bailed to go to Baylor.

For those stating his resume and talking about coaching on both sides of the ball, what was the role he was coaching and where did those teams finish in categories that matter? The only "good" pro to come from his coaching was Robbie Anderson who went undrafted and Rhule was never a WR coach.

Dave Tepper and Dan Snyder are cut from the same cloth. Massive ego's and lways convinced they are the smartest guy in the room. Im very worried about this future I was once optimistic for.

This exactly. We will know in a month if his ego truly puts us in Jets territory for 20 years

More about Shaw from Ian Rapoport and Tom Pellisero's list of coaching candidates...

Quote

David Shaw, Stanford head coach, 47: The white whale of the college coaching world, Shaw (86-34 in nine seasons) could have had several coveted and high-profile jobs by this point if he had wanted. He never even has entertained it. However, some believe this is the year he'd actually consider it, with Stanford having a down year and several key players in the transfer portal.

So we have a no holds barred showdown between Tepper and that idiot Snyder who has been f’ing up the Skins for years...

If Tepper wants him Snyder doesn’t have a chance

Maybe that should be that if Snyder wants him then Tepper should look elsewhere. When has Snyder been right

The decision was made already by the time they announced Perry Fewell was going to be interviewed. Fewell covers the needs of the Rooney Rule, but we have seen that there is no way he'd be capable in coaching this team as it is. That being said, Fewell is only being interviewed because they have their man and don't need to interview any other serious candidates (quite a few of whom would be excellent candidates and cover the Rooney Rule).

So you tell me, who is the only HC candidate they have met with twice already (if the reports are correct)?

I'm willing to bet Mike McCarthy will be announced as the new HC within two weeks (just in case some kind of wild move happens with a top flight coach in the next couple of weeks due to an embarrassing playoff loss).
