Rivera was fired but the assistant coaches were not.  The next HC will have the option to keep those on multi year contracts if they want , or release them.

Part of the talks with Washington is Snyder wants O'Connell to stay for Haskins.

They don't necessarily have to be fired. A good number of them are probably on expired contracts.

Assistant coach contracts tend to only be about 2 years unless it's I highly performing coach. Sometimes they're not even that long if the head coach is on a short leash.

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd probably say the vast majority of our guys are going to be available, quite possibly all of them.

I can't honestly think of anybody I'd covet that much if I were an incoming coach.

Wow, had Rivera not nut hugged washington and rehired wilks this off season it's possible he would still have a job here, but ron is stubborn as fug and cant admit when he has fuged up until his hand is forced.  Good luck with that.

Maybe you're right. Rivera was probably annoyed that he had to take over defensive play-calling for awhile, and he didn't have the balls to fire Washington. Now he can tell Washington that he vouched for him, but Snyder wouldn't sign off.
