dont get the hate here. Ive been following this board for awhile and most here recently wanted him gone. He is and landed back on is feet, good for him.

Rivera was the best coach this franchise has ever had and was great for the city and franchise.  No idea why everyone hates on him now.  I sure hope he does well in DC and I’d bet he does.

Redskin fans should expect to see him become Riverboat during year 3, when his job is on the line.

Seriously, let's see how good he is with an average or below ave qb.

At one point he was 7-1 with Kyle Allen.....

This was Rivera's biggest fault and it eventually cost him his job here. Good coach, bad guy to run your team

Also developed basically no talent. Good luck if Washington has any young guys needing to be developed.

It's said that he'll have considerable input into the GM position, and might even have final say.

Rivera is apparently swinging a big stick up there.

(or something like that)

he had a big stick.   he used it so many times its recovering from surgery again.    wait until they find out he doesn't have one anymore

The thing about Ron and Fox .. they can win and make noise in the playoffs with somebody like The Golden Calf of Bristol .. which is why Ron having Cam was a waste .. Ron's style can win with trash at QB

Oh, so that’s why Ron Rivera and Kyle Allen have us in the playoffs right now, huh?

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
