I just think this is the coach we need.  Read up on him.  Here is an interview with him.  "A leader of men" Andy Reid calls him.  I was not impressed at all at first--then I did my homework.  Not going to give you all the information, but this gives you some idea of what we would be getting:

I'm leary of anyone coming out of Reid's offense, but that's really the only hang up I have on him. If he's the hire I won't be opposed to it.

Compared to the other names I have seen, this would be my pick. He does not call plays (Reid's ego, experience) but he designs the offense at least in part.  I watched some of the ways they use all personnel in KC and I like to think he had something to do with it.  I am not a Reid fan, but I Eric has his fingerprints all over the offense.

I wish any coach we bring in would have head coaching experience at least at the college level if not the NFL. Otherwise we have to wait for him to figure out what he is doing like we did for Fox and Rivera. At least they both brought us to a Superbowl after a few years even if we lost both.

Didn't Reid call the plays?? So he is the OC but doesn't call plays........and he hasn't got any head coaching experience at any level.  And he can straighten out this mess???

Wow. Just wow...

What????

Reid designs and calls all the plays. Bieniemy is basically an apprentice.

What if all teams only hired coaches with head coaching experience?  There would be no coaches.  Secondly, you are basically suggesting that we hire someone who was fired from another job.  Of course EB is a gamble, as is any other coach.  If you target only the things you predetermine to be negatives, then who is your candidate?  I imagine anyone has concerns.    Wow.

    • PFF feeds the beast.  So it’s largely popular for that IMO and is embraced by the NFL machine because it helps feed the beast.  Thats why you see the cute stats pop on the Monday Night football screen lol.  Hot takes? Fantasy football? Yeah, it’s good for the NFL machine for lots of reason.  I do think the league embraces them.  Not because they are actually good at doing what they claim. actual analytics folks are critical of PFF.  Because it’s not analytics.  It’s subjective goobly goo ratings by dudes that aren’t really qualified nor even have the info to do real grading.  you got legit NFL players who say they have literally put PFF grades by the coaches grades and they are worlds apart.  Players have laughed at them pretending they can grade certain plays without the underlining info.  NFL coaches have called out there bologna at pressers.   could it be a quick tool to find out some info that has nothing to with their subjective grades? Sure.  There is a lot of data on 32 teams for cheap. But I do not buy the narrative 32 NFL teams think their grades are worth a poo or remotely accurate or meaningful.
    • Bills D looks like ass
    • I think that win vs Dallas gave them a big boost of confidence.  Thats a team that blew us out the past 2 seasons. Even when Bryce was playing okay late last season they still beat us pretty bad.  Lets see if we slaughter the Jets or go back to playing sloppy uninspired football and go from there.
