This is my pick as well. My other question would be is how much did he have to do with Mahomes. If he was one of the main ones to identify him as the best QB in the draft and move up for him then that’s a huge positive for me. In my opinion Cam has a few good years left in him but for his successor that Would be huge. Remember Mahomes sat a year behind Alex Smith as well.

What????

Reid designs and calls all the plays. Bieniemy is basically an apprentice.

No.  There is an interview where they explain the process.  But if you decide he is an apprentice, who are we to argue?

and he's already got a catch phrase.  at the end of the day...      he's natural and smooth and seems to have a fire behind his eyes.  i like it.   he looks like you don't wanna see him mad.

And he insists on getting the most out of players--he is infatuated by it.

We’d have to give him some time to develop because no HC experience but the guy has the “it” factor. Andy Reid’s tree has phenomenal coaching records overall.

Smart move would be for him to hire a few former head coaches as part of his staff to help get him up to speed.

Yeah one of my favorite quotes from him was that he coaches backups to take the starters’ job. He instills that mindset in them.

analytics is the only thing I haven’t heard a peep about him. Tepper will have to decide if he’s willing to learn and apply that. I don’t see why he can’t.

I think so--I am not at all worried about the fact that he did not call plays in KC---he was very involved in the play designs and personnel.  He probably won't call plays as a head coach anyway--But if he hires a few former head coaches as coordinators, he should be fine.

I see a smart, hard-working motivator.  I see a coach who will push players.  He does what RR is telling the media in Washington he is going to do--I like the Tomlin comparison.
