Well aside from Foles freak injury early in the season and playing for a terrible team which hurts what I’m going to say,..

I stand by what I said over and over. Wentz can’t last a full season... confirmed once again. He never really recovered from his first year injury anyway.

in short,.. the eagles should have kept Foles.

and the Vikings should have skipped on the gigantic contract to Cousins and kept Case for cheap. Same production.

The Eagles seem to have a unique approach to their seasons.

They use Carson Wentz to get them to the playoffs, at which point their backup takes over.

Not as much hate for the Hawks as I do for the Aints and Pats but I still hope they lose, would finish off a great weekend

Yikes.

Wentz is genuinely a very good quarterback, but he can't stay on the field, especially not when they need him the most.

The thing is, Foles isn’t really that good, he had one magical run but otherwise it seems like he just lost the job in JAX to a 6th round rookie who was solid but at times looked like Kyle Allen... I think the Eagles ultimately made the right decision to see if Wentz’ upside could show and he could get healthy, because they really do not have a good enough team (offensive weapons and secondary...) for Foles to have any success with them at this point. Wentz is kind of their only hope unless they go into a mini rebuild/re-tool.

Doubt they advance even if he was in.  Really hoping the Hawks are done after this game but its not looking promising when you let Wilson tear off 15+ yard runs on your defense.

Wentz just took a cheap shot to the head. I don’t count that towards “no being able to stay healthy”.
