What would a “win now” hire look like for a team that has had consecutive seasons with seven game losing streaks and uncertainty at QB?

Generally teams looking for a new coach don’t have the luxury of a “win now” situation.

When Iran looks remotely capable of ending civilization as we know it, I will cease focusing on sports. Until then, the thing going on out there isn't WWIII. It may or may not turn out to be very bad, but there is zero indication life won't go on, so since this is a sports message board, it's entirely appropriate to talk about it.

He's a 3/4 OLB.

He may be able to be a situational pass rusher in a 4/3, but certainly can't play the run at his weight, and likely would never be super stout against the run.

Culture change was coming. Both Rhule and McDaniels would have done this. All I hope is he surrounds himself with quality coaches to run his program. That made Pete Carrolls program a consistent winner.
