Matt Miller Mock Draft Update

If they take Thomas what happens to Moton, Daley, and Little? Will Moton move over to LG and Little to RT? Also, I agree with not taking another QB unless it is in the 1st round. We need to overhaul OL and DL with players that can contribute immediately.

I would be very happy with that selection.

edit: Man I would love to have the pick of Thomas, Jeudy, and Okudah...

So we finally find a competent replacement for Gross?

SAY IT AINT SO!!!!

I just choose a few huddlers even though everyone seems to be extremely excited about this pick. I have one main reservation about this if we pick at OT with our top pick does that mean The best talent evaluator in the NFL completely whiffed on a trade up situation when acquiring Little . Does that mean neither of our current two the greatest talent evaluator choose are worth a dam? What does it say about evaluating talent for Marty seriously based off Tepper comments on him?

I think Little got drafted for his body, and not his technique or disposition. He had bad technique in college and he brought it to the pros. He has trouble getting his hands on the chest to block inside, and he quits rather than finishing the play.

Little looked good prior to repeated injuries, but I'm concerned about concussions etc.  I don't know if I would consider Little a whiff just yet, but I would say OT is a question mark right now.

He is raw.  And last year he was injured and I am not sure matsko was working hard with him.  The whole OL digressed.  I wonder if RR and the staff knew early on that this was the last year in Carolina.

He has the body to play LT no doubt about it. His technique is pretty shitty but if he cleans that up he should do fine. I think another concussion and he's done. His technique may end up landing him on the ground where another head injury would be more likely.

I don't think Little's career is done, but I think that if an incredible prospect at OT is there it is hard to pass on him.

But I would also be okay with Okudah/Jeudy in that slot as well, since I think all three positions are varying levels of need and would be nearly identical in terms of quality of the pick.

    • Another layer to that is Ive seen Seattle has been in the market for CB help this off-season.   Michael had a higher PFF grade than Horn who got 15 games this season. He wants to be here too, that's a huge bonus for any 5 win team that had awful pass rush.  The 7th rounder Michael Barrett didn't last long on Seattle, he was cut before the season I think and ended up on browns PS. He's already been on 5.......5 teams within one year.......
    • You have gave the board some recent gold via posting. Heres my poor attempt at the truthful play-by-play of the time during post- I pulled out the old laptop to do my shitposting and check on websites. Open the huddle and see this new thread. Open thread and read CRAs post, {inner thinking, oooOOooo this is my lane and I got this}. Make sure not to scroll even to the 2nd post. 23% of current neurons still firing start up and two names appear- Captain and Josh....... about another 43 seconds past "O GOD" it's July 4th weekend and I got medicine to pick up. (If the laptop didn't give away my aging, the meds should...) I need to split, think long panther careers and the hint-  Ryan Kalil was a late 2nd and Pro bowls(even all-pros too) he's got to be OLman and Mikie Minter is among the all-time Panthers career leaders. Drop my post. Scramble to get keys, wallet, and phone. Check my phone- its 17% battery.....fug I now have to raw dog the pickup line and put the phone on charge.... Flip flops, sweat ringed filled hat, and shades acquired. Get in my pos rav4 and think about not running the A/C. Pull out the drive way and reach the 1st stop light, A/C is wide open. I check my shirt to see if there's any new stains on my house shirt, bush off the Bojangles salt that I see.... Neurons re-fire and focus on the comments CRA made that no one would get this....... Dang IT, that means it isn't Ryan Kalil or Mike Minter! CVS is close, but I know its impossible I get back withing 10 minutes to change my post and my phone is on the charger. {Think you monkey, at one point you were a draft nerd}. Reach the CVS line, by some grace its not 5 cars deep during 5 o'clock traffic hell. Im second in line after the car in front of me both turn in, they have to go back and forth to line up while Im a pro for that geometry. Neurons finally reach peak performance as Ive re-thought draft classes. Think obscure and unknown 7th rounders with long careers. Some Sunday/Monday night member berry fell out of my Melon, Will montgomery during the players intros for washington. I thought he out of the league and was shocked to see him still playing around the 2015 years. I do a goggle background check and that refreshed memory. Pick up the meds and enjoy the sweet smelling cool CVS air. Driving back and check in on one of the local bums at the big stop light, wow he's got a new fancy rug. Think about all the old food I got and need to start giving it away and rethink it. Reach home and post a follow up and I know Minter is wrong too, I check the draft history and see Robert Mcclain. Too late, but that would have been my guess....open CRAs link and get "upset" at the DBs name.
