Okudah is the perfect Rhule draft pick

The kid is a great talent who works extremely hard to be the best every day at his position. He has been on record since his freshman year of college stating he wants to be the best DB in America. He put in the work through the years to make it there as well. And he isn't just an ultra talented kid, he is a kid with great character by all accounts. If the draft falls out way its both a position of need and likely the best available player that also 100% fits the mold of what Rhule wants to establish here without question.

If the #7 pick is anything other than OT or DT, something has gone horribly wrong.

So you are saying draft for need and not BPA?  Is round 1 of the draft the only way we can possibly meet our needs on the lines?

I'm saying Brown and/or Thomas should be there at #7 and there should be no hesitation that either one of those 2 will be the pick.

I get it---I want Brown (but would take Wirfs--my favorite tackle in the draft--or Thomas IF we know for certain that Little is a bust (we have not seen enough to know that--he has  missed too much to judge him on such a small body of work) --Hope we sign Bradberry.  To be honest, it is really pointless to debate who we are going to pick until later in March--after free agency.

Agreed. Even if he's not a bust, I don't think we have to be married to Little at LT. He can play other spots on the OL & Thomas would be a clear upgrade there.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
