Damn, this sucks! I felt like Luke did not have fun playing football this year on this defense. Many times I could see him frustrated physically on the field. But with this news, do we really need to start a full on rebuild and move on from Cam too? You can convince me that if we had a healthy Cam and Luke then it's not but it's looking like a reset to me.

I think he has a shot at the Hall of Fame. Sad indeed, but I'm happy that he gets to leave on his own terms

Don't blame him a bit.  Its a rough game that takes a significant toll on a player.  Good to go while he can still walk and doesn't have his brains scrambled.

He has been one of my favorite players from his first season. Class act and this team was better because of him. Good luck luck and  one more time. Luuuuuuuuuuuuke.

I find it hard to believe this is because of the "rebuild".  He could easily force his way to a contender if he wanted.  If the team was really looking to rebuild they would probably help make that trade happen.

Yep.  Love me some Cam but it frankly makes sense to get rid of all the old guard for the new era.
