‘If you live uptown’

So you’re comparing a small section of one major city to the next? Charlotte is a banking business city, no one wants to live downtown except these guys.

Compare the fact Phoenix has no NFL. It’s in a shitty desert with absolutely nothing to offer. Charlotte is much MUCH more prime of a city. You made my point. Unlike your shitty desert areas where living downtown is preferable, the most beautiful places to live are outside of Charlotte, not downtown.

Good weather, mountains that aren’t desert rocks, beaches...nicer city. You can by far get a nicer house in a nicer city with better climate in Charlotte for cheaper (in the suburbs) than what you’d get in AZ.

I’ve lived in 20 other cities and in Scottsdale for a year. Out of those 20, Raleigh (less to offer, other than Austin (less to offer) Huntsville Alabama (nice but way less to offer), parts of Minneapolis (even though it’s fuging freezing) there is no better place to live when you’re talking all around for the price and taxes. But don’t take my word for it, go do the research on best places to live and dig deep. The experts agree or more like I agree with them. It’s not a secret. It is one of the best places to live and invest for a reason.

Don’t know how long it’s been since you moved but Everything west is exploding price wise Charlotte is much better option.

Phoenix does have an NFL team lmao. You can get to the Cardinals stadium in 15 minutes from Downtown PHX. the MLB stadium and NBA arena is in downtown too. Phoenix is the 5th biggest city in the country. and Scottsdale is like a mini Vegas and a prime nightclub destination. filled with professional athletes that live there in the offseason. and im not even talking about just uptown Charlotte. South End, Dilworth, Myers Park and Chantilly are all expensive too. NoDa is getting expensive as well. and I know you clearly dont know much about Phoenix because more people live in suburbs like Scottsdale and the East valley

Here's an old image, but it gives you an idea of how close Charlotte Pipe and Foundry (the rumored land) is from the current stadium.

The pipe foundery has acknowleged the connection.  If a new stadium gets built that is the favorite, probably wont be for 5-10 years based on their timeline.

Arizona Cardinals.

I have nothing against Charlotte per se, but LOL @ your blind Charlotte homerism.

Yes, the Cardinals, like I stated no NFL (was a joke).

Actually, I wanted out of Charlotte. It doesn’t suit me. I don’t like southern, conservative culture at all. I love mountains and snow, I like dry weather.

So I moved and am happier where I am at. Personally, honestly, I’d probably be happier in the desert known as Phenoix too.

So not sure how that fares with your homer comment now.

However I’m not talking about personal opinions and realize first hand Charlotte isn’t for everyone. I am looking at this objectively almost from a realtor/investor state of mind with a hint of appreciation knowing how inexpensive Charlotte really is and was for the city that you get.

Like I said if you do the research, experts all say the same thing. It’s one of the best cities to be in and invest in right now for a ton of reasons. It’s up there with places like Austin.

just do what I did and put him on ignore

I think in my time here I’ve only had to put one person on ignore. Some duke troll like 7 years ago who I honestly think only posted here to try and argue with me and harass me about UNC. He was beyond obnoxious and was very sad. BigCatDaddy I think was his name. Like I would log on and immediately have like 26 notifications just from him harassing me. I’m fairly certain I found his actual real twitter handle and threatened to release it to the other UNC alumni and fans he was bothering and he quit posting here, so it must have really been his account. Maybe he was banned.

posters like Bull123 are just batting practice.

meh

Paint it up however you want, but if you paid it 25 years ago, and were still paying it, you're likely high middle to upper class.

Poor/lower middle class people don't typically have the means to pay PSL fees. Especially out-of-towners.

Sure, I know a lot of them get resold or w/e.

But PSL ownership does not a better fan make.

lol @ "sacrifice" btw

sounds about white

Believe it or not, it is possible for people with moderate incomes to save money and make sacrifices. Are they making 15k/yr.? Probably not. But I guarantee I can make a realistic budget on as little as 30k/yr. that would leave room for $2k PSLs.

Any mods going to ban this racist troll? Probably not.

Muh taxes!1!

You don't live here, and you don't seem to be very informed on the actual details of the situation, so I'll just take your post for the uninformed rant that it seems to be.

You’re informed on Tepper’s future stadium plans?
