Kobe Bryant dead in Helicopter crash

This is one of the most shocking, saddening celebrity deaths I’ve experienced.  Pretty much grew up watching Kobe. Extremely saddening and really hits close to home. It’s a reality check for the rest of us on how precious life is how quick it can change.

The first person I thought of was Payne Stewart.

Beloved athlete. In his 40s. Loving family. Life ended suddenly.

Clearly, Kobe has a much wider global reach. There’s no question about that.

Davey Allison for me. My grandfather was a race car driver so I naturally followed NASCAR as a kid. NASCAR died for me when Davey Allison died in that *Talladega helicopter crash.

same. curse of fatherhood is your see your child's face in the face of every kid who ever dies in some poo like this. i can't take it

good news is that they probably smacked a hill at high speeds in dense fogs.

they all prob didn't have a chance to know what was happening/happened. doesn't sound like a dramatic descent

sounds like a blink of an eye kind of death, and aside from dying in sleep, probably the best way to go
