This.  To me, his arm strength is his biggest issue.  Watching him this year, it seems comparable to Kyle Allen's.  So, in a clean pocket where he can set his feet and maintain technique, he can be very good.  But when the pocket breaks down, he doesn't have the strength to make a play with his arm alone if he can't get set.

But he does have a very high football IQ.

Would a good comparison be a smaller Alex Smith?

Smart, doesn't make mistakes but physical limitations prevent him from being top tier QB with potential to be very good?

I wouldn’t want to go WR until at least the 4th round..WR Antonio Gandy Golden from Liberty would be a nice mid-late round pickup. I would we focus on both sides of the line this draft with first couple picks. My preference would be:

1) DT

2) OG/C

3) NT/DT

4) WR

Curious to what he thinks of Wirfs (one of my favorite OTs)

 

His guy seemed pretty high and keyed on Daniel Jones.  Which after the draft it seemed the Giants were about on the same level as his guy (cough cough, dont know if his guy is with the Giants)

 

I saw the other day the Giants (Scouts and Gettleman) are super high on Wirfs and have read "sources" say the Giants may even consider him at 4

I like Fromm, but he certainly doesn't have the ceiling the guys I mentioned do. He could go early in the 2nd though if someone liked him enough.

I love Herbert, I think he is right there with Tua and Burrow. His offensive scheme held him back, I don't mind an introverted QB at all, it's a none issue.
