Figuratively speaking... but seriously if we trade Cam let Grier take his lumps and draft Lawrence next year.

That's a reasonable assumption at the moment.  I have no clue what the actual plan is however.   I guess we are about to get introduced to the "process".

Unfortunately I can't say this type of awefulness isn't possible. What a failure this would be.

It will be a pivotal moment in the history of the franchise when you look back on it one day.  However it turns out will largely be the results of what transpires this off-season.

The sacrifice season . We burn it all this year with hopes of hitting on early draft picks in the future . Once a stock goes down there’s a chance it will slowly rise again

we get rid of cam ,Poe,short  we stick with Allen or a free agent Qb and tank and pick our Qb next season

Maybe that's the plan?  At this point nothing would surprise me.

I thought, "Maybe that's the plan," and then saw your post.

Teams have sacrificed the short term for the long term before---tank! So it's not out of the question. I doubt it though. But Tepper seems like a shrewd son of a gun.

He is certainly letting everyone know that it is his team and his Rhules.  Sorry, couldn't resist.  Anyway, it's a bold strategy Cotton, I hope it works out.

Much rather have Allen or grier, especially since their cost is peanuts compared to 9 million.

Plus the 2nd for Cam is not enough.

Teams needs about 10 giant "Ifs" in order to compete, take the medicine this year while getting/giving young player reps..... then go hard in 2021.

I’m good with keeping three existing QBs and the only trades involving Cam is for either a promising starter or we give our 3rd  and Cam for their 1st deal .
