"Sometimes you have a go through some tough times to get where you want to be as a franchise. And sometimes during that rebuild, after you have taken the house down to the foundation to start rebuilding, you have an electrical fire that razes the rebuild to the ground. And then sometimes the insurance company says that your fire looked suspicious and they won't pay you to start a new rebuild. And then that rebuild goes dormant for a long time as you battle it out in court and then eventually you get charged with insurance fraud and the house gets sold at auction.

The Panthers suck for how poorly this was handled. Just straight trash all around. I would like to know where is Cam's tribute video? They did more for Rivera after they fired him by letting him have a farewell press conference. All Cam got was a wack tweet. :eyeroll:

His treatment has really been unbelievably poor. I have never seen a player of his caliber get poo on like this. This is worse than the Steve Smith move.

I think you will have a lot more of a problem with them when we are five+ years into a playoff-less streak. Everyone is red hot to see us be terrible and I think they are going to get their wish. I just don't think any of that crowd is prepared to see how long we are likely to be bad.

Cam needed to be let go!! Took too long to call plays and read defenses.. no I am not a racists!! So don’t say it!! I think he needed the OC on the sidelines with him like a Josh McDaniels!! So I see him going to the Patriots!! McDaniels will guide him in the game!! Never understood why we didn’t do that with Csm!! Pissed me off!!

      Hey if they could beat Seattle… tiebreaker head to head over GB, LARms, Seattle… win out the record is 11-6.  Now rap my knuckles for suggesting we win out, but that would be some funny poo. Talk about sneaking up on people.

      I expected 6 wins this season. I need to see the Panthers blow by that now that they exceeded it by 1. I like how Canales has schemed around the weaknesses on offense in the passing game. I am impressed with the receivers, run blocking, running back combo and secondary communication in zone. Defense and QB need more consistency. The improvement of the defensive play calling and critical 3rd down and 4Q passing when trailing is going to be what I am looking for going into the playoffs. If the Panthers can consistently regain the lead after trailing over the next 4 games, I can see them competing in the playoffs and worth a reevaluation of the last 2 seasons' weaknesses. This is the prove it or lose it moment in their Panthers careers for Young and Evero. No excuses.

      He's on the smaller size for a center (5'8" 175lbs) and he is a bit of a liability in the faceoff circle. But, he's a proven 60 pt player with room to grow. I'd still rather go get TT from Buffalo. Rossi would be a great consolation prize, though.
