lol we will have let the top 3 players we've ever had go for literally NOTHING combined....combined haahahha

What do you think Cam is worth?

The bears just told the world they value him less than Nick Foles and a fourth round pick.

The way this has been handled? and after the team played him an entire season with a fuged up shoulder/other injuries/leaving him in the game and QB sneaking when down 21+ points in the final minutes of games/etc/etc/etc/etc/?

What he's worth isn't the funny part that should be fugin obvious. The way the team has handled Cam and our top players all time tells you about the status of our GMs/HCs over the years.

This is what can be taken from this news.

I disagree.

I think what can be possibly gleaned, is that Cam has made it known that he wants an extension or new deal.....

That's the likely story right now, and I hope Cam isn't the guy caught with no chair when the music stops.

Chargers seem intent to let Cam hit free agency, and  even then they are undecided.  Cam destined to hit free agency and become a Pat.

Rivera is awfully quiet.  Could he go to Washington?  A smart Cam would stay away from RR.

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup.
