We are the future of the nfc south

Saints Drew Brees 41 - retiring within two years Winston doesn’t scare me when he takes over. Payton honestly could position himself to take over the Cowboys job is Mike Mcarrthy isn’t successful ASAP. TAYSOM hill is 29 currently. AK And MT obviously could be long time playmakers but you never know with contracts and injuries.

Falcons Matt Ryan is 34 / i for one believe his success has been because of Julio (31) and a decent supporting cast. But again in the next two years things can look a lot different.

Bucs It’s this year or bust. Chemistry takes some time. OJ Howard will get better under gronk. I don’t want to put a clock on Tom Brady, he seems to defy all odds. I can’t see him ruining his legacy fighting for a title with the Bucs. Their defense is primed to be solid for a long time.

Panthers I for one believe Teddy will surprise people with his consistency. He obviously won’t have the same peeks and valleys as cam. I do hope we are able to land a Trevor Law or Justin Fields. Our defense will get this year and next to learn these offenses in the nfc south and hopefully play the back end of their rookie deals with NO Tom, NO JULIO, NO Brees.

I guess what I’m saying is, that eventually every team will have to rebuild in the NFC south soon.We are doing it first. If Matt Rhule isn’t successful in the next 3-4 years, I will be sad lol

Honestly assuming the staff really believes in someone and Teddy hasn’t surprised to the extent he should be the franchise, I won’t be surprised if we trade up to get the QB we want.

Eh, the Saints and Falcons have decent teams built; moreso the saints. They hit on a QB within the next few years and they’ll be right in it.

That's kind of it. All of the other teams in our division are currently much better set for the future than we are.

COULD we be the future? Sure. It isn't easy to take a look at the current roster and see that, however. Maybe I could see having this discussion in a couple of years but we literally have to build this roster from almost nothing. That takes some time.

    • Whether it's consistently seeing the field his arm talent his mechanics it all points to a limited player that needs virtually everything to go right in order to possibly begin to overachieve or play at an elite level. Some people are willing to accept average at best but that's not what we're here for. This is a business.
    • Last year folks were gaslighting that Bryce was the best deep passer in the NFL despite not ever making plays downfield  NOW, he has A+++++++ arm strength one notch down from Brett Favre S Tier arm strength?  And people complain people are Bryce “haters” for arguing against all this type wildness lol.
    • I looked at him and his arm and his footwork, before he was drafted.  It was clear then it is clear now. He doesn’t have an arm that can flick a ball down the field using only the arm.  I don’t see his arm as good by NFL standards. I see it as something he must overcome. So I quibble with the characterization.  What I completely agree with is if he does not do his mechanics and footwork right his velocity and accuracy suffers.  If he is diligent and adheres to proper execution, yeah he can make do with his arm.  That sort of is what it is at this point.  Another aspect of it is he needs to use maximum effort to go downfield or to really drive a ball with any kind of heat. That (max effort) hinders accuracy. I have talked about this before.  He is at a disadvantage having to max exert compared to a guy that can use a very repeatable easier throwing motion.  Up to him if he can proof the pudding and hang with the big dogs.
