You'll re a dumbass. Plain and simple. Not gonna go into detail (I could for days) , but fug man, we aren't tanking. TB will do fine in this new offense.

Cam was a 1 trick pony with his mobility, but when he lost his mobility and desire to improvise... We went back some steps. That far into his career and just learning a checkdown? Bridgewater will be fine. It may seem crazy now because we have no known names, but I believe in them and believe they are building a solid team from the ground up

We will suck so bad this season no matter who we play at tight end. If we win 2 games this year I'll be shocked.

That would put us in the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes.  I don't think we'll be that lucky.

this would be huge, but it probably won't happen. ian thomas isn't the answer

And you know this, how? Come on, man. Thomas hasn't had the opportunity.

Not saying that I wouldn't mind Njoku (cheap), but he probably has just as much to prove as Thomas.

I like Thomas but his route running has been suspect at best.  He’s very gifted athlete but he must improve in his route running or he won’t make it far in NFL.

Perhaps. I hadn't thought about his route running, but I don't remember him being as bad as you say. I was thinking in terms of the drops (much like Njoku). He had better get a handle on those. I remember him getting open a few times last season.

Here’s an article calling out his bad route running ability.  Thomas couldn’t master it in 2 years... maybe new coaching will help?  With COVID and everything closed, I doubt we see improvement in 2020.

The article is really really general, and honestly more of an opinion.

I get it. He hasn't come out like gangbusters, and may not be the long term answer. But, he was really really raw coming out, and our coaching and offensive play calling was super suspect the last two years, as well as the QB play. Last year, in particular, was horrid.
