I developed a depression about 12 years ago due to lack of sleep and stress.  That poo ain’t no joke.  Realized it was chemical imbalance in brain and had to change everything in my life.  Took me like 5-6 months to recover.

Happened to me in college. I never took medication but had to do a lot of things in my life to get better

anxiety and non-stop panic attacks after my dad died from aspiration pneumonia.  it was the sound of it for 8 days that broke me. never thought i'd ever have a mental breakdown. been thru plenty without one.   had to get on meds.  got off meds but workout, eat right....   turns out i've had anxiety all my life once i had to talk to someone about it.  its a deal.  there are brain chemistry changes that aren't great from both long term usage of chemicals to deal with it, and leaving it untreated (not making serious lifestyle changes and doing what's necessary to treat it w/out meds).  this is with both anxiety and depression.

This is a 50 yr old dude who creates burner accounts to hype himself up on Twitter. He’s drowning in it too

50 ?
I’m sniffing around fifty in a bit and trust me, this guy is closer to 65 . He’s not even close to our quiet society called Gen X .

But I get your point young buck .. he’s an oldy.

Edit * a bit meaning a few years don’t get it twisted . :shades:

I have been diagnosed as clinical depressed for the last 8 years, to the point I have to take depression medication. I don’t think about suicide often, but the inability to control one’s circumstances can cause serious depression. It is a real struggle I fight everyday, it is amazing what an enemy ones’ own mind can become, stay educated and in constant contact with a support system.
