Greg Little could be our starting LT Sunday

I fully believe Little needs some reps and to prove he was worth the pick, and if not fire Hurney. I am 100% on making Hurney the scapegoat of anything this year. Young team with upside, new coaching staff, just need to get Marty Meatballs outta here for this to be the most potential seen in a Panthers team in a long time.

As much as I'd love that, I don't think getting Teddy killed is the answer. It's damning enough if Okung isn't able to go and the coaching staff starts Scott instead(which was an option discussed, apparently). If Little rides the pine for most of this season, the full story will have been told on how awful of a draft pick that ended up being.

Just now, Jeremy Igo said:

Hope he does well. Hurney tried to trade up into round 1 for him, so he should be starting anyways in year 2.

Well, the fact that we traded for a guy that was going to be a day one starter should tell us a lot about how that evaluation may have changed. I am thinking they saw enough to know they couldn't go into the season with him as a starter. The fact that he is so insanely injury prone is a big enough red flag to make that move.

Why is this a bad thing? If this were week 8 and we were in the playoff hunt I would worry but guess what...we ain't.

See what the kids has, if he flashes and shows improvement its one less thing we need to worry about.

Until 2021 where this board freaks out for a hold and declares he be cut...as is huddle tradition.

He's probably unlikely to be cut until 2022. Cutting him would be a pretty goofy way to incur about $3 mil in dead cap for Little to no reason. He's suspect depth, at worst.

First off, nobody is mad at Little...want to get that out there.

We are mad that Hurney (yet again) traded up for an offensive lineman who was not projected to be good...while not going after the G's and C's that were there for the taking.

Nope, gotta have a Little and a Grier...not a good interior offensive line.

Dumb Team.
