We know who Teddy is he's a good quarterback that's why offensive coordinator Joe Brady was beating the drum to bring him here.

My concern is that Brady just wanted a QB familiar with his system to try to fast track his way to a HC shot a la Chud. Fielding a legit NFL offense with Teddy at QB would do it.

I totally agree, but I was too afraid to say it in fear of being sent to the doldrums of disassociation.

The energy and anger used to poo on Teddy is pathetic. It's the typical losers over and over.

A simple thread showing a graphic about our QB's efficient day and the losers can't control themselves. Just sad.

You're right for all the wrong reasons. Some people want the Panthers to compete for Super Bowls. Some seem more than happy to strive for mediocrity. Typical losers indeed.

Correct.

Obviously that isn't happening this season. Not sure what crapping all over today's starting QB does to help it now or in the future. Anything positive or valid posted about teddy is met with a weird angst by scorned lovers. Sad really.

What exactly do you expect to accomplish by making demands that every player should be a future HOF? Those seem to be the only players you don't poo on. You can demand a HOF QB all you want but it's not going to help. Its just pathetic incessant whining.

What do you expect to accomplish on this forum when literally every post you make is simply to criticize someone else's opinion while offering none of your own.

Pathetic incessant whining indeed. Grow a pair and state an opinion of your own once in awhile. Anyone can pot shot and just act like they know everything by just criticizing others. It's a gutless chicken poo tactic and it's literally all you do.

The numbers do not support much hope beyond reliable mediocrity, that's not mean it is factually true. If you wish to believe otherwise that is your right but surprise and inverse negativity in no way change the situation or recruits others to the fantasy. Good dude but this year is about the future and his place should be challenged due to his production. This is why you see the Alex Smith comparisons which is fair and generous.

Thats fair. As a Panthers fan though I think it is normal to hope for better from him. No rookie QB is guaranteed to be even as good as Teddy. I'm not interested in that game. I'll support Teddy now, and if there is a rookie QB I will support him too. It isn't difficult.

This is what people are missing. It's not like Teddy is this unknown NFL commodity. A few still have this pipedream that Teddy is going to wake up one morning and become a legit franchise QB. It's just not going to happen. If you put him on an absolutely dominant NFL roster, you might have a chance but good luck pulling that off in a hard cap league. You simply can't compete for championships in today's NFL with a QB like Teddy. The Brad Johnsons and Trent Dilfers of the world would have no shots at rings in today's NFL.

Dude, I literally got poo'd for bringing up a fact in here. The Huddle is something else man. He is legit on pace for 11 Td's and 11 Int's and I got crapped on for stating a fact. LOL. This guy is not it.

The desperation for teddy to be something he isn't, is a sight and is incredibly on the nose for the Huddle.

Strong this. I’m not gonna completely poo on Teddy. He is good for what he is. A game manager, maybe a little above that. In fairness he is working with a young team, a young defense, and a below average o-line. Having said that, nothing he has done has shown me he has the ability to be a game changer or an upper echelon QB. You can debate whether you need that to win, but I don’t think anyone can argue it’s better to have one of those guys than not. If the Panthers are in a position to draft one of those guys this year, who have that potential, they need to do that. The idea being pushed by some on the Huddle that you build and wait to get one of those guys is so dumb. Guys with Fields, Lawrence, Lance potential don’t come along all the time. If you’re in that position (which would partly be on Teddy) you get one of those guys. End of story.

    • Im not firm on many things football, but this statement or belief or strategy I am 100% for. Full Offseason the goal is to make the playoffs. Week 1, 1000% I want to win. Weeks 2-10,  1000% I want to win. Until the math stats 0.000000000% chance at NO playoffs, I want to win. *Once* there's no chance at the playoffs, I want to 100% lose every game until the end. You are still loser at 2-15 or 5-12, I want to never lose like this again. I want the best value for losing and suffering. Again the only goal is playoffs. Once in the playoffs anything can happen, I want to win the whole dam show. If you happen to lose in the first round, that's perfectly fine and lets work hard this upcoming off-season to get another chance to make them.  This is the ONLY way to play in the NFL. Anyone not understanding this method of strategy, please call your doctor for a visit...
    • Purdy's good but at the end of the day you're paying first class money for a business class seat.  It's a big problem with the salary cap.  QBs take most of it whether they are Pat Mahomes or not.
    • Purdy saved the 49ers from that three 1st picks for Trey Lance. People forget that. People also forget he should have MVP votes for the 23 season. He's been any where from the 8th(his best/23) to 14th ranked QB, he's legit and guys around top 10 get paid as QBs.....guys in 28th get paid too, he's 4x the QB Trevor Lawrence is and better than BY by miles as well...even without CMC, Samuel(whos a RB playing WE), and half the OL.    *BUT*    You non-believers missed this ultra important mistake that honestly made me reconsider all the praise I gave him. https://www.si.com/nfl/49ers/news/49ers-qb-brock-purdy-throws-blind-40-percent   That's is damming to my case and reset my thinking of his. That's nuclear scary now and I need some time.  too honest for me to overlook.
