seems like I remember hearing, maybe just a few days ago, that some Panther coached called another coach of the Panthers something like..."Belichikian."

Or may I was just hungry for chicken.  Still, it it possible that we have stumbled analytically-wise into good coaches?

Also....chicken.

Lmao. That was funny!

No one thought that we would be 2-2 after week 4. Not you, not me, not Rhule, not Tepper.

Any objective, rational person would understand the futility in making any kind of definitive assertions about how the season would play out, considering how insane of a roster turnover we had from last season, coupled with a completely brand new coaching staff. Which is exactly what I said during the off-season...

The X-factor has always been Rhule and his coaching staff. If they were able to assimilate quickly to the NFL and prove to be good coaches, then we’d be in a position to experience early success. Everyone seemed to write it off and assume there would be some long learning period. Some dummies even repeatedly parroted the sentiment: “Well Phil Snow’s only NFL resume involved coaching the linebackers during Detroit’s 0-16 season so he probably sucks”.

I know for a fact that Rhule didn’t predict he would be 2-2 in the NFL after week 4. The NFL is the most difficult football league in the world. Guys have come and left quickly. Rhule’s resume’ says that it takes him 3 years to build a solid program. Rhule was 2-10 in his first season at Temple. And 1-11 his first season at Baylor. This is the NFL, not Temple or Baylor. Rhule didn’t come to a 2015 Carolina team.

Knowing for a fact that someone didn't predict something specific is not the same as knowing what they thought. Stop pretending to be a mind reader. I never predicted I'd be typing on my keyboard at 5 minutes to 11pm either, doesn't mean that's evidence I didn't think it would happen.  You keep showing this pattern of conflating subjective with objective. The two are not the same.

Subjectively, you think Rhule didn't think he would be 2-2. Objectively, all he's ever said on the subject was that his goal is to win, and you have no concrete evidence of anything else, so stop making subjective assertions as if they were objective facts.

Not sure if a thread was made about this yet, but Matt Rhule and his staff utilized a rule (har har) today while on defense on two separate occasions.

The first came towards the end of the 2nd half when the Cardinals were in the Red Zone in an up-tempo offense. The Cardinals attempted to substitute a player which allowed the Panthers to substitute defensively, and take their time doing so.

This caused the Cards to show their cards (har har) on offense and burn a time out due to Zach Kerr taking his sweet time to get to the line.

The Panthers were aware of the rule and used it to their advantage, I have never seen this or anything remotely strategic to that in all of my years of watching Panther football.

That wouldn't be the last time the Panthers called them out on the offensive substitution. Once again, near the end of the game while AZ was running up-tempo - they subbed a guy out and Zach Kerr strolled to the line.

Absolutely brilliant stuff, we have an incredibly smart and strategic staff.

It's the type of stuff we haven't ever seen from a Panthers coach It's downright Belickeckian/Peytonist

Our roster is not good. It's not. What we are witnessing is what can happen when a more talented coaching staff completely obliterates an opponent with a much less talented coaching staff. We make the Cardinals look silly x's and o's wise. Roster versus roster they should have won. They had much more talent. Coaching staff versus coaching staff it was no contest. We had a better plan, we adjusted better, and that's game set match.

If we had an average coaching staff we'd be on our way to 0-16. Just imagine what we can accomplish next season when we have more draft picks and much better free agents rolling in. We'll be able to significantly upgrade several positions on both sides of the ball. Look out.

And you don’t know if I know what Rhule predicted. So, go back and teach yourself whatever this subject or object thing you’re talking about.

Yeah...you don't understand the difference between subjective and objective....

That's pretty much sixth grade education stuff. Stop throwing around flawed logic when you don't even understand the concepts involved enough to speak on them, it does not make you look good.

If Rhule predicted something specific about his expectations after four games, post a link, otherwise stop with this "you don't know if I know what someone else predicted" stuff. I'm only asserting you can't read his mind and he's never made any public statements consistent with your assertion. The burden of proof is on you, not me.

Yup, first time I've had hope that we may actually have a strategist as a coach, EVER.

I’m sorry but I thought I was on a Panther forum, not some English 101 forum.

You are, but an educational background so lacking that you don't understand basic concepts like subjective and objective makes you look foolish no matter where you go. Dumb is dumb, regardless of what you're talking about.

You can aways tell when it's the real chuck. Why others may ask? Simple a lot of people will have simple spelling errors or post drunk occasionally, But chuck is a true simpleton he cannot fathom the abstract.

Those who say, "I know..."  are -- by definition -- in error.  It was the Socratic Paradox which stated, "The only thing I know is that I know nothing."

Ah, but those who state, "I think..." are at least humble enough to occasionally be right.

It would be interesting to explain to Chuck that the "present" doesn't exist.
