Uhh-Rhules introductory press conference.  Did you not watch it?

Yes and read the transcript of the same... no where in there did he say that he was hired or came here because of Hurney. Perhaps you should read it again.

Again...source?

"And we started interviewing Matt. We were all sitting there interviewing Matt and it was me, Marty and Steven Drummond. And Marty's going with his toughness and his questions and we're about halfway through the interview and Marty Hurney starts melting down. And you could Marty and he's like 'I've gotta get into recruiting mode now.' So Marty goes from total interview mode to putting on the recruiting mode. And Steve and I looked at each other and looked at Marty and didn't say a word, and we just all went into recruiting mode because we knew we had something special. And something that we could build something up here. I was more than excited."

I can remember tepper making a joke about Marty eating chips and dip or something along that lines while they talked to  rhule  at his house.

Yeah, but in true Hurney fashion those chips were meatballs.

He was uncontrollably eating meatballs.

He is exactly what he looked like and why so many were against him coming here. The fact the Boys were dumb enough to sign him is a thing of beauty. He is a dinosaur whose best days are years behind him.

The worst thing to happen was for Aaron Rodgers to bail out his tired and stale offense.  It made him think he was actually a good playcaller, when in actuality Aaron had to make a living on perfectly thrown balls into coverage and scramble drills (the play after the play).
