The thing I hate about Teddy B

He doesn’t play well enough to be a franchise QB. He was literally tied with Mitch Trubisky in TD’s before today’s game. Lol.

Teddy was great today, we suffered tremendously on offense without a legit run game.  They keyed in on Davis and locked him down, second week in a row.  We really need CMC back.  What Samuel did on the TD run is the kind of stuff CMC brings, its why we need him back.

A) he’s had at least two really bad games, three by my count

B) he didn’t have an amazing game. He had two really good throws and then just made the rest of the easy throws asked of him.
 

He had a REALLY good game. Lots of scrambling to buy time and make good decisions. This might have been his best game of the year imo. He actually hit most of the throws he should have, like that early td to dj.

So because we run the ball inside the 10 teddy should be evaluated as a poor qb?

I could live with him if he didn't make the game losing mistakes. We could build around him to succeed. But those mistakes are a part of him sooo...

Teddy is absolutely upgradeable but if you look at this roster and think we have the defense or offensive line a young QB could win with you're in-fuging-sane. 

Back 7 needs upgrades. OL needs massive upgrades. It'd be foolish to pass on a top talent at either position for a young QB, esp with this coaching staff showing the want to win sooner rather than later.

We can absolutely win with Teddy, CMC, Moore and Robby as our offense.

What mistake?  He got sacked within 1 second on a rush up the middle. Nothing he could do other than take a grounding penalty and lose another several yards

I thought he played a good game. Amazing? Nah. About as well as he's capable of? Yep. And that's all that you can ask of anyone.
