What happened to Dennis Daley

Was a up and coming OL prospect. 

Looked good at tackle and guard.

Got hurt. Started year late. Now he is healthy but not playing.

Conditioning maybe?

Josh Klein tweeted that he saw him headed to the locker room last night. Snap counts only credit him with three special teams plays.

I'd probably feel better to know he's hurt than I would to think the staff believes Chris Reed is a better option.

There has to be more than we know, I cant fathom that any half abled lineman would be worse than Reed.

Probably the same about Daley. Maybe he had a bad concussion like Oher in practice and the team is keeping it quiet.

Lower round picks do have a tendency to have a more limited shelf life.

I've said before the trickiest thing about the draft isn't predicting how good someone is so much so as it is trying to figure out how long they can be good.

This a million times.  If Daley isn't better than Reed (which seems hard to believe), then neither of them belong in the league.

Reed was an absolute embarrassment, even for a franchise that has seen more than its fair share of horrendous offensive line play over the past decade.

I'm guessing starting off hurt with the new staff didn't put him in his best light with them and Reed is a guy they brought in, so they naturally went with him.  But, if he's healthy, put him out there.  I was just thinking last night after the game, next week will tell us a lot about Rhule.  After having the interior line get their ass whooped on national TV by a 1-6 team, if there aren't changes made there, I'm gonna have some serious questions.  It was already a glaring issue, but last night was absolutely illuminating lol.

While I share this general sentiment, I suspect that there just isn't anything else we can do.  I mean, who do we ACTUALLY have on the roster who is healthy and can step into the lineup?

Apparently, we have a rookie C named "Sam Tecklenburg"?  Ok.  Oh, and a tackle named "Trent Scott" . . . I mean, we're THIN AS HELL on our roster for linemen.  Oh, and "Mike Horton", a rookie G, Matt Kaskey and Aaron Montiero, 1st year tackles on the practice squad.

Thus the reason you have Rhule backing his players publicly.  He just doesn't have anywhere to turn for help.
