What? The ball at the end of the first half was a dot. Jesus man. At some point put your emotions aside and try watching with your eyes.

That first ball to DJ where he burnt Davis hung the hell up and that should’ve been 6. No doubt about it. But at the end of the half, that was a good throw.

And yes they were in position to spike the ball with 8 seconds left had he caught it.

I love when posters tell other posters to stop being so emotional while being emotional as fug. Thanks for the chuckle.

Ah yes here comes one of the 3 posters I was referring to.

Just so you know, people are laughing at you.

Yeah, you were definitely referring to me with that post in this thread. That makes a lot of sense. If you were as smart as you think you are you wouldn't make nonsensical posts like this so often.

Why would people laugh at people posting on a Forum? This place gets more odd everyday that passes.

To be fair, I think DJ actually caught that ball. There definitely wasn't enough evidence to overturn IMO. It hit the ground, but his hand was under it and it didn't really move. Maybe he trapped it maybe he didn't, but you gotta stick with the call on the field with that one

his hand came off the ball when it hit the ground, thus the incompletion.  it was obvious on replay.   really not even questionable.  now if i woulda been drinking yesterday it would have def looked like a catch

I wouldn't call anything about this obvious.

yeah but what about spiking a ball when the playclock is not running?  isn't that gonna get a grounding call anyway? isn't that a rule?

No there is usually a WR in the area. Grounding has to do with avoiding a sack.

No, teams can spike the ball to get a more favorable spot for a kicker even if the clock isn’t running.

...Cotchery caught it....

This ^^^ he had it pinned against his forearm (DJ) the ball can hit the ground so long as control is not lost, he never lost control. Especially at home if it's not vs TB we get that call, the NFL will do all it can to make sure TB makes the post-season. Not saying a loss to us limits that, but 2 L's in a row in the division hurts TB's seeding for sure.

I would say Rhule will learn from this. Growing pains are to be expected with such a new coaching group and players.

The guy is not stupid, that's for sure.  He'll learn.

But for all those screaming "my gawd, he's nothing but a college coach....he doesn't even know the rules" a few years ago, when Joe Gibbs was in his second stint at Washington, he took a 15-yard penalty near the end of the game that put the opponent in relatively easy range for the game winning FG by calling a timeout after they just came back from a Washington timeout.  So, back to back timeouts with no play in between.

Before anybody thinks they just lost track of it, he admitted after the game he was not aware of that rule.  The guy had been a HC in the NFL for probably at least 15 years at that point, and I do not think that rule had changed in all that time.  And he is not exactly an idiot, either.
