Lol for what? Throwing a prayer to Samuel in triple coverage and throwing to the sidelines against a defense playing soft?

For actually not checking the ball down like we all thought he would. You gotta give our receivers a chance to make a play and he did. Against how he is wired to play. So I give him props.

hes obviously not the future.

Well at least we can start PJ after the Bye

I'd rather not risk a win lol. I want to win as much as anyone, but let's be realistic. We know we're not a bad team, we just need more better players overall and replace some starters. And what better way to do that than through a higher draft pick.

Lol. When Brady does it...what an amazing throw... when Teddy does it... poor decision making.

there’s no reason why people should be more angry at slye than they are at teddy. he took points off the board with his interception, missed wide open receivers (including moore in the end zone late that would have secured the victory), and of course got one of our star players hurt. they both seem more suited for, say, the bengals or the jaguars. too bad one of them isn’t really cuttable right now thanks to his contract.

That horrid miss is all on Slye, just like a lot of his other "clutch" kicks... the block.. I don't think it matters who the kicker is that was a block due to missed assignments on the line.

Block put us in that spot at the end too.

Never trusted sly at an end of the game. Been anti clutch from 1st year in college. Still sucks in crunch time.

But that block was huge.

    • We don't have to tear down Dak to appreciate what Bryce did yesterday. Dak had 0 running game. If the cowboys were better, he'd be a legit MVP candidate if he keeps playing this way.  They did it with Ceedee last year, but they do a better job of anybody we play consistently of getting their best receiver off Jaycee.  Bryce was good too. If we just catch the ball that was intercepted, we probably win by 7+, and Bryce goes over 200 yards passing.  Biggest shift the last few weeks has been play calling. I thought Canales abandoned the run game way to early at times last year. This year he really seems to be sticking with it.  I still think Chuba is better at making 4 yards when there's nothing there, but Rico is better at making 30 yards when there's 6 there. I like the direction. Hopefully we can get Moton, Sanders and Coker back and really be dangerous. Our play action game is pretty deadly right now.  Unrelated: My favorite quality about Bryce right now is his ability to see the defensive hold and throw the ball there. He EXPOSES the officials when they don't call it. That one on Tetaroia yesterday late in the game was a bad miss on their part.
    • That sacks allowed number lookin juicy!
    • This is a game the Panthers should win... just the sort of game they lose. The Panthers have a bad habit that goes back years of playing down to the competition's level only to mess around and lose the game. The Jets game should be taken very seriously! But I want to enjoy the fact that they beat the Cowboys for at least another day or so!
