Don't forget Daniel Faalele. Super intriguing prospect. 6'9" 400 pounds is insane. Very raw former Australian rugby player but the physical talent is undeniable.

Jeez that guy is huge! Don't know if he can make it as a tackle, but man, put him at left guard and just let him eat up space and punish DTs in the run game.

It's gonna be really interesting to watch. A lot of NFL teams are going to be very nervous about both his newness to football and lack of comparables. I mean, the NFL is a league of freakishly huge humans but this dude takes that to a new level.

If he were to be able to perform at the Efe Obada level, then you could call it a success and a major bonus to the line. Honestly, if he was still sitting out there in the third round you'd be crazy not to take him. If nothing else, just to make him play nose tackle on Special Teams. That wingspan would take out any 50+ yard attempt.

The biggest difference is that OL don't rotate. You don't have situational and/or rotational OL. You just have starters and reserves

Darrisaw will go in the 1st

Walker Little may be around with our pick in the 3rd, but dont think I want him playing LT for us.  Some in the scouting community feel like he may transition to OG.

Other guys who I think who I see as guys who will be on range for our 2nd pick.

Jalen Mayfield (Michigan)

Alex Leatherwood (Alabama)

Liam Eichenberg (Notre Dame)

Daniel Faalele (Minnesota)

Jackson Carman (Clemson)

Also, I wouldnt be so locked that we Draft a OT rd 2 just because we went QB rd 1.   Id expect that QB to sit next year behind Teddy reguardless.  This makes it easier to go BPA among out high needs list.

Funny how your opinion changes based on the sites that you tend to visit---

I see Walker Little as a late first, early second.  His soph film is solid---not sure what others are seeing about G.

I have seen Darrisaw in the middle of round 1, but when I watched a video of VT game, I did not see first round.  Others do...

Leatherwood is more of a finesse player that will be strong vs pass rush, weaker in run game.  I can live with it.  When I watched him, I saw good feet and balance, and a bit of a nasty streak.

Eichenberg is one of my favorites in the second round.  He is not great at any one thing; solid across the board and his technique is good.  ND OL are getting like Wisconsin OL--worth the investment.

Mayfield has been a RT--not sure how he will handle the left side.  Good RT though.

Carmen and Slater have been listed as a G. I see it with Carmen, not so much with Slater.  I see LT all over Slater--and a good one. I have read the statements about him being a G, but I disagree, fwiw.

And I would say this--do not go to sleep on Penn State's R. Walker.  He could be the second best OT in the draft.

The whole league needs OL, remember the Failcons drafting Lindstrom and passing on Burns(thanks!!!). Just at place where the colleges have not been able to improve the OLs much.

I do hold hope to this idea that some QB desperate team will give the Beaguals a offer they can not refuse, leaving panthers with Sewell for the taking. Its possible given they use a 1st for a LT in 2018. Let me have my dream!!

    • People really need to stop placing Dan Morgan on some kind of infallible pedestal. He is absolutely in lockstop with Tepper regarding Bryce and has been all along. As far as the team being okay with 185 passing yards per game. We better have a proven monster RB in our backfield then. Presently that guy is not on the roster. Chuba has one outlier season so far and the other guys have proven nothing. Not what you would call a great recipe. The only thing we can hope at this juncture is that the highest paid OL in the league for the second year in a row elevates their play from last season and opens up some massive holes even our RB's can get through. But it still doesn't resolve the issue of predictability. With no viable passing game it is much easier to shut down any run game. No defenses are scared of Bryce's arm. It is what it is.
    • i lived in Atlanta from 84'to 92' & back then it was indeed a very different time without the internet & access to information 24/7. shortly after i moved back home to western NC around 93' or 94' the Carolina Panthers were awarded an NfL franchise & began their inaugural season in 95' so ike you i have seen the Carolina Panthers, ,the NFL ,technology, fans all evolve over the many a moon & years now some for the better & others not so ...just saying
    • I wouldn't even bet on us winning the NFC South. All four teams had excellent Drafts.
