fug, Bradberry looks good.

Not sure why this would surprise anyone. He IS good. Choosing to pay Shaq instead of Bradberry was a truly idiotic move. Not only did we spend the money on the less premium position, but also the lesser player. Bradberry actually is one of the better CBs in the league. We paid Shaq because we wanted him to be one of the better LBs in the league despite having watched him not be one for five years.

Hurney has really hurt this team. If we can’t keep Moton that’s going to set us back yet again. Wish we concentrated on extending the good young players, dumped the dead weight like Short and actually focused on pure rebuilding to win the division in 2022+.

If Hurney is retained and we make these rumored moves the Panthers deserve to lose their entire fanbase. Don't give Tepper a dime for a new stadium. Let him take the franchise elsewhere and just start from scratch in Charlotte.

I honestly don’t see a team in the NFC that matches what the saints bring. Their defense is far and away the best in the conference and their offense doesn’t really have a weakness.

Id like to see Minnesota get in just to screw with them mentally, but I think they cake walk through the NFC and then get a tough test with either Pittsburgh or KC.

He didn’t want to stay here dude. And who could blame him? We’re a perennial cellar-dweller.

Herbert definitely got a wake up call today. Let's see how he bounced back next week. Everyone in this league has an awful game every now and then. If he's the real deal, he'll bounce right back next week.

Bill is something like 50-2 versus rookie QBs, master at knowing how to frustrate a rookie QB. Just adds to his GOAT status. Hebert has been playing in space the last weeks, he should break all rookie QB records Which is funy since he doesnt play like one, at all.

    • Smith-Wade for me. He has the path to some decent hefty snaps in Evero’s scheme. He held his own last year and improved as he continued to get snaps— If he makes some strides, could be a very capable nickel.  I agree with Sanders. Bryce had some trust in him that final Falcons game post crazy head-stand.  Bryce looked for him a lot that final game and made some critical catches to get us the W. Seems he’s put in major work so I’m hopeful about him.  Wallace will have an offseason under his belt. I like him a lot, was higher graded than most remember in his draft (I.e Brugler had him LB3/70 overall) but he isn’t as cerebral of an LB as we’re used to. I think he could thrive if we get D captain/film-junky type next to him— because right now that’s Jewell.  Still a bit cautious but love the talent. Rozeboom may snag some playing time from him if he’s still working out the kinks.
    • Didnt Canales already say starters are playing in the pre season? either way extra reps dont hurt but im not one of those people that think playing in the pre season would have saved Bryce from an awful start.
    • very helpful.  I read back in this thread where they might try Jarvis at C--I thought he and Aho had good chemistry, however.  Nonetheless, he could expand his value there, and now we have a guy who can play jarvis' spot.  Freddie is a pro, no doubt--and as little as I know about the inner workings of strategy and positions, I could tell Burns was burning us at times.  I figured he'd retire and I was looking forward to it.  FWIW, they have Jarvis listed as a C on the 2025-26 roster.
