we were never going to be one loss or less like jacksonville or NYjets so anyone thinking teddy two yards is the difference there is wrong.  i think i and others look mad we got conned by Payton because our owner let the radio dj stay at GM for no reason once again and that the coaching staff who was supposed to be these geniuses look like clowns and we're stuck with them for years

We’re upset because we paid 60 million to a garbage QB

I would like to point out that my contribution to Teddy's salary was zero since I haven't bought tickets or merchandise since Teddy was signed.  I'm mildly upset that Teddy is looking worse and worse with each game. His salary does not particularly worry me since I paid none of it, and the 20 mil is probably near the minimum you were going to get away with paying any FA starting qb.

I'm not really that upset.

The team probably is a little better than I expected they'd be at this point, but the record isn't.

There's still a long way to go and a lot we don't know.

I'm not upset at all, we all knew this season was a guaranteed dumpster fire. I am concerned our coaches aren't going to cut it in the nfl.

I'm not even upset, just sort of apathetic and bored because we're the same old team always "only" one or two seasons/coaches/players away every season yet we always ultimately come up short. I mean we still can't even have back to back winning seasons closing in on 30 years in the league. It's just a nauseous roller coast ride with this franchise with no payoff. But go off king.

Yea...he definitely seems to be declining. How in the hell did he win any games while brees was out.

The premise that 5 or 6 wins removes you from the opportunity to draft a franchise qb is not supported by historical evidence. The premise that it is entirely possible to draft a franchise qb in that range is very supported by historical evidence.  IMO at this point with this franchise the more pertinent consideration will be the quality of the oline protecting any newly drafted qb. My premise is this will have much greater impact on said qb's success than whether such qb is drafted in the top five or top 15.

Flawed logic. The percentage of successful qb's drafted 1 or 2 is quite a bit higher than what you're assuming. For every Peyton Manning drafted number one there are about two Matt Leinart's at 10. Recency bias with Mahomes has made people forget that.

Set any reasonable criteria you would like for the definition of franchise qb, then check that criteria against all historical evidence before you talk about recency bias with Mahomes because I am not some 12 year old with ADHD who can't remember anything beyond the last 5 years.  If you want to call it flawed logic, back that up with facts, rather than just asserting things like "for every Peyton Manning drafted number one there are about two Matt Leinart's at 10."  That's a generalization, not a fact, and it's poor form to try to claim someone else is using flawed logic with an unsupported generalization.

Because the Saints roster is incredibly good.  Taysom Hill is even worse than Bridgewater and he is winning.  That is a REALLY good, well balanced football team.

I'm upset for the very reason I said I would be at the beginning of the season. Teddy Bridgewater is good enough to win us 5 to 6 games and get us out of position to draft an actual franchise quarterback.

Well, actually it looks like he isn't!

Rodgers will own us! Rivera will own us! And Payton will own us regardless if Brees plays or not. We're staying at four wins, and that will keep us in line to get a franchise QB!
