Makes sense.  Marty is easy to work with and does what people want him to do.   

so a HC would like Marty.  Especially one that knows him.   That doesn’t make Marty good.  He isn’t bringing expertise on team building.   Most HCs think if they can get what they want they will be good....he offers that.  

so if Washington is putting their HC in charge of the GM move it makes sense his name is brought up.
