Send them on down here to Florida. We quit that covid shizz back in March. I'll hide all the dead people from them.

The pictures from Spring Break and now the pictures of people making out on dance floors recently prove that young kids don't care.

I see them sharing joints, vapes, picking up randoms on tinder.

Watch the college games the people in the stands often were mask free.

They don't social distance on campuses.

Citing covid risk to college players via the combine is insane considering they are banging a different chick every night.

Nfl players are already isolated.

There would be no such thing for players coming to the combine.

Yes, it could be modified, but the risk would still be high, and not worth it to watch players work out.  nfl doesn't want to take that risk.

Argue what you want. Doesn't dismiss that point.

How are they isolated? That’s total BS and you are either gullible or blissfully ignoring the truth. Watson was photographed opening a restaurant maskless around other maskless people and he missed no time. The NFL hasn’t been close to the NBA’s bubble and we are all suggesting a two week bubble.

How come the NFL had shut down the Senior Bowl? Your point would be valid if the NFL was doing a bubble like the NBA did. They didn’t and there are just as many threat sources in NFL games as there were college games, probably more because college players lived on campus not scattered in different neighborhoods. It’s comical to think that an easily bubbleable location with pre-testing is considered riskier than the 4 playoff games this weekend. Twice as many players and team personnel along with some fans (some games) with nothing close to a bubble.

Did everyone read the article? It sounds like they have every intention of keeping every element of the combine (medical, drills, interviews) but getting creative on how to accomplish it.

For instance, they mention they might send league officials to pro days with equipment to standardize and clock 40 times. As a fan, it shouldn't make a difference from any other year; we'll get the information one way or another.

Honestly, this is kind of dumb. The Combine is actually a pretty easy format to adhere to social distancing standards outside of a few lineman drills that could be cancelled or tweaked.

Very true, except for the number of coaches, scouts and execs that fly in, plus all of the press. Add to that all of the personnel working at the Combine and it becomes a bit trickier. Still, it could be done. Interview portions would have to be done in larger rooms for social distancing or virtually (some coaches won't like that) and the Wonderlic tests would have to be given in more separate locations for better distancing.

Still, that's a lot of young, basically college students (and their agents and sometimes entourages) being asked to travel, maintain protocols and somehow not get sick. Can you imagine if Justin Fields or another standout player contracted COVID and developed one of the severe cases with long term debilitations?

Still, won't the Senior Bowl be just as big of a petrie dish event?

Man, there just aren't any good answers.
