Derrick Brown was double teamed a whole damn lot

A chart of which DTs were double teamed against their production. Not only did Derrick Brown receive more than his fair share of double teams, but he also still produced at a high level.

In other words, Brown was a beast.

Aaron Donald sheesh

They highlighted him in that Playoff game against the Seahawks.

Now granted the Seahawks Oline isn't great (a big worry considering our new GM!), but every time they single blocked him with an OG he got to the QB. It was ridiculous.

He's the best player in the league.

Now if we can just find a dam 3-tech that can beat 1 on 1s like KK was when he was younger, we'd be in good shape

Speaking of KK. Where was he on the chart? I figured for $13M he’d be way in the top left since Brown was double teamed so much.

    • Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.
    • Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.
    • I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
