Agreed. No one disputes the history. It’s the argument that it’s still occurring that needs to be challenged.

Yeah and that isn't to say that some of that mentality isn't still floating around. Most likely it is given the ages of the front office personnel, coaches and owners involved.

But make no mistake, if the new generation of franchise QB's is any indication.....the kind of thought process is gonna end up with your team in the cellar of the NFL.

I’m a Huddle legend like it or not. Always have been. People love to hate me and I’m fine with that. I’m the contrarian around this place and I’m fine with that too.

Teddy isn’t paid to be sitting on the bench. At least not currently. Not really seeing where the black QB thing is holding water based on your argument thus far. Any argument of the sort takes a lot of inference in 2021.

Would we be better off as a team getting solid QB play for a 1st and a 5th for the next for years in Stafford or with questionable QB play from a rookie that we are likely going to have to trade 3 1sts to get? 

How many more games would we have won this year with Stafford instead of T2G? This is the worst year in NFL history to need a QB. Over half the league is looking for a QB in the next 2 years and next years class is weak at the position. 

So yeah, I would have been happy to give up 8 and have Stafford for the next 4-6 and have time to find a QB to groom.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
