I've told non-Panther fan friends that Tempers got a really bad wrap.  He was not an all-pro, wasn't great, but he was solid, and sometimes that's good enough...  we've never been able to fill both tackles spots since we let him go and Oher was forced into retirement.  And I never blamed him for that Superbowl...  he and Oher were facing two HOF pass rushers and our team had to play thr Broncos and the NFL, all while having an incompetent coaching staff who either didn't make adjustments or didn't and couldn't enforce adjustments if there were any made.  We would've had to overcome incredible odds to win despite all of that...  I'm always gonna be sour about that game.
