Who is going before the QBs?  This draft is really weak overall.

Are you saying a WR goes before the QBs?  Sewell a guy that didn’t play last season?  A TE/WR player?

These QBs will go, it is happening

I will bet you any amount of money that qbs don’t go 1-4.  Say $200.

Sewell will go before QB4. Pitts and Chase might as well.

Stop...we are on a forum here.  I will give you 20 pies but you wont pay me if I win either.  LOL

Spoiler alert:   You won’t win.

it’s such a stupid fallacy it’s not even worth debating.   No draft will ever have 4 qbs going 1-4.  Especially this one where the next tier all have major question marks.  It’s stupid to even discuss as a possibility.  But if you want to Venmo a mod $200 I will do the same and see what happens

I don't see it but anything is possible.  Sewell is being massively overrated on this board.  He is not flawless by any means.  Pitts and Chase are good players.  QBs trump that sorry.

Just watched the footage he's got a live arm for sure... but he's in shorts against an air defense and overshooting/missing quite a bit he's gonna take a couple of seasons if he booms. In a normal year he'd be a second round prospect.

How would he be a 2nd rounder in a normal year? What does this year have to do with his draft value?

I get what your saying here but really the level of competition between Bama and NDS is like the Buccaneers playing a might might team.

I mean Alabama was way better that other teams this year. They are loaded with NFL talent. Mac Jones had a NFL line, RB, and WRs mostly 1st rounders going against a lot of players that won’t get drafted. The gap from Alabama to the average team they played could be greater than NDSU and their competition. Also Lance started the same number of games as Jones. So experience should be similar...

The obvious reaching/overpayment for QBs, I suppose I should have said the last 2-3 teams a lot of teams are reaching and overpaying for QBs in both the draft and FA. He's about what I expected high talent level low refinement of said talents.

Looked incredibly smooth, comfortable, and in control. Love the intelligence of putting throws in there that QB-needy teams frequent in their playbooks.

I've been getting higher and higher on Lance, and after his pro day I'm completely okay with waiting for him to slide to #8.

For those that have been worried that the top 4 QBs will be off of the board by #8: that has never happened before in the history of the modern draft. The closest it has come to that was in 1999 when the first 3 selections were QBs (Tim Couch, Donovan McNabb, Akali Smith) before the next two QBs went at #11 & #12 (Dante Culpepper & Cade McNown). 2011 was also close when Cam went at #1, Locker #8, Gabbert #10, and Ponder at #12 (Dalton & Kaepernick went back-to-back early in the 2nd round).

It does matter who they played against. Lesser athletes against you give you far more wiggle room for mistakes. When Lance doesn’t know what to do he takes off. Great decision making against lesser athletes. Does that translate well to long term success in the pros?

All I can say is you'll see. Lance isn't some dumb schmoe! You seem like you think that he doesn't know what he's doing back there, but I believe that he does. He is always cool and under control.

Just like he played against "lesser athletes", he played with "lesser athletes" as well.

For the record I don’t want anything to do with Mac Jones unless it's the fourth round, But this is hilarious.... The SEC is another planet from the subdivision.

    • Best I heard its a clause the bungals want to add. It prevents them form paying the full guaranteed amount if triggered. No one knows the details of the clause, but guesses are it relates to off-field stuff. Stewart is in the right here. Before they signed burrow, chase, and Higgins they were the cheapest team in the league bar none. Unlike tepper or jarrah Jones or any other NFL ownership, all Mike brown owns is the beagals. Every other owner has many other money making businesses, not bungals.  I still remember when Brenston Bunker was starting on WFNZ and he told the story about the beagals telling him to pick a used cup form a huge pile, LOLS! They been on hard knocks and I remember Marvin lewis telling the players not to take home Gatorade bottles........* but in that case, I believe some players were taking a back pack and filling it up with drinks. Still you make millions(around 200million) in net profit and Im sure coke gave the team those bottles, still... Its a 32 team billion business, someone has to the cheapest.....Panthers were around the next cheapest team before tepper bought them and he has POURED millions upon millions into the team. He bought a bubble that Richardson never would, so the team had to gather in building during the rain. He spent millions on coofus machines that he just gave away like the bubble. Tepper made that AC trailer a thing. I've trashed him about his concerts and taking away end zone seats from fans. But the guy will spend money any way to efforts to better the team, dang I just remembered the deal he gave Rhule- more than Andy Reid at the time.  I know results have not came, but Id 100% take Tepper over Mike brown as a owner.
    • There's no way they're shipping you some uniform you haven't seen lol.  I feel like they'd just refund you and ask if you wanted the new one when it launched. Probably just making the blues the primary, or a new helmet for a new alternate/variation.
    • Man even after 5-12 seasons they are able to produce hype videos.
