And it certainly wouldn't be hard to find women willing to go along with a get rich quick scheme.

@Cookie Lyon Thoughts on his assessment of women?

I want to see the victims instagram pages. I want to see how they advertise their service. Something with this just does not add up. Its like he put out one of those settlement commercials.

Have you or a loved one touched Deshaun Watson's Penis? Contact us immediately, you can be awarded compensation!

Why in the world would Watson fly someone out like that for a massage? They have those in Houston.

They're being paid by the owner to tank this man's reputation, sad to see it

This is payback for Deshaun blowing up their spot and making them look bad the past few months

You watch too much TV.

Saying the Texans are behind this is insanity. They had a highly valuable asset that they would have gotten a franchise changing return for and now have somebody who no team will touch (at least for the time being).

There's no way a team will trade for him until and unless this situation works itself out in a positive way for Watson. If he is found to have done all or some of these things that are being alleged, his NFL future is definitely going to be questionable.

THIS.

Its sad how so many people have become obsessed with the idea of trading for Watson that they're throwing all integrity out the window and coming up with dumb conspiracy theories trying to defend him.

BUT BUT Waston = 23879123 Superbowls!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine believing any drummed up accusations from the most suspicious of sourced JUST BECAUSE you don't like the idea of trading draft picks, then using MeToo to pretend you care about women. Yesterday was weird, today has been even worse with the dishonesty on here

Imagine thinking all rich, white, probably GOP men are evil JUST BECAUSE you see some of it being true here and there.

It's possible these women just assumed they'd never get any recourse for a man trying to take advantage of them, and so kept quiet, until it hit the public.  Just look at the reactions in this thread...

I can't imagine 9 women all made poo up at the behest of the McNairs or whatever.

On this board folks were poo pooing the idea of trading for him at all before any of this mess even happened. Now those same folks immediately believe this is a deal breaker and more reason not to pursue Watson at all. They're aren't fooling anyone at this point

I mean it sounds logical. Not only Panther fans, but if you read any other fan board who thought about getting Watson they were hesitant about their favorite team selling the future as well.

It’s an unprecedented trade for a QB this young and this successful. So no one really knows or has anything to compare it to, but the price is intimidating and I don’t see an issue with anyone hesitant for those reasons.

It is also logical to see it as a deal breaker. There are a plethora of things that could happen. More victims come forward. Could actually end up guilty. Could end up suspended. Or yea, absolutely nothing will come of it. But logic would say the situation is concerning. Not whether you thinks it’s true or not. The situation. The list goes on, I also don’t see any issue for hesitation for these reasons.

Valid concerns all around. What’s not logical is to say none of those drafts picks will matter anyway and Watson will be completely cleared of all these charges and nothing will come of them and anyone who says otherwise has an agenda. Trying to see something that isn’t there.

No, I want a female to chime in on the meatheads in here. Why do you keep bringing up TB?

I'm not gonna discount any possible scenarios this early in the process.

However, if it turns out the Texans ownership has anything to do with this, well, that'd have to be about the dumbest move they could've made w/regards to Watson.

It is the sort of thing that would not only risk destroying Watson's trade value, it would also risk the ownership's continued control of the Texans franchise.

Oh man don't let petty rich people manipulate legitimate women's movements to attack a black man's character, that's how they prey on liberal good nature. This whole thing screams setup and if Tara Reade is any indication (or the way folks don't even bring her accusations up), we know how to be discerning when it comes to sexual assault accusations.

Grown adults can totally take sexual assault seriously while also using the sense God gave them to sniff out a hit job when there's literally evidence amd motive for a hit job.

Dude is letting a team chaplain run his team. And his dad referred to players as inmates last year. I can totally see a rich dude embarrassed by all that being vindictive.

    • LOL... Yet again proving you can't look below anything than what you see on the surface Mock drafts ARE NOT draft grades They are what people think will happen.  They are mocking teams taking QB's in the top 5 of the draft because that's just historically how drafts go regardless of the grades on the QBs.  Almost every draft expert, even those mocking QB's going high, have said time and time again that none of these QB's actually grade out as those type of picks. This is again, where I say you don't like to actually read what I have to say, because I already explained it. 2022 the exact same thing happened, mock drafts had guys like Pickett and Willis going in the Top 5 because that's just what teams usually do, but GM's listened to their prospect grades and knew they weren't worth taking that high, so they didn't. It's not to say QB's won't go that high this year, but it's to say that they aren't graded out as elite QB prospects.  Mock drafts
    • Have you seen the mock drafts lately?   Most of them have us taking a QB. Just because you aren't high on these QBs doesn't mean the Panthers or other teams aren't.   If you want me to be real I just think you a Tmac homer and all you care about is us drafting him. It's why you get so defensive when people mention other prospects.   Be open to other people's ideas. Nobody in this thread is saying anything bad about your boy Tmac.
    • Oh good lord Interest doesn't mean interest in making a bad trade to take the player, that's why I had such a long post, to accurately describe why those are two different things, but you don't like to listen to that stuff.  Being interested in a player doesn't live in a vacuum. It's very simple... there isn't a #1 draft pick type of grade on any of these QB's, if there was, we'd just take them.  You can't bluff a pick everyone knows you won't make, and trying to trade the pick is the CLEAR signal that you're not taking the QB. Just because the Raiders would have interest, doesn't mean they're going to bail us out of a situation we don't want to be in, they'd be smart about it and just sit put, let us take a non QB as we'd be telling the world we're not taking one just by trying to trade the pick, and then they'd take him at #2 (either with their own pick or by trading less to get that one). Oh, and your point of "if nobody is willing to make the trade, you obviously just take the best QB" is quite literally the dumbest thing I've ever read on here. If nobody is willing to trade up to take the QB, then it's OBVIOUS that the QB isn't worth taking with that pick, so OBVIOUSLY taking the best QB there is just OBVIOUSLY stupid and a bad pick. The moral of it is if there is a QB worth taking, we're taking them and not making the trade.  If there isn't a QB worth taking there, nobody is trading up to #1 to take one, we just showed the NFL how bad of an idea that is 2 years ago, it's really not hard to see. You keep making up this mythical situation where there is a QB who has shown to be worth trading up to #1 for and we'll be able to leverage that into a trade.  But we're the most QB needy team in the league, if we end up with the #1 pick, either we are taking a QB #1 or no QB is going #1 unless we get VERY lucky and two teams in the Top 5 fall in love with one prospect and we can play them off each other and fleece one of them. But again, I can't see that happening, as if there was a QB worthy of that, we're just taking him ourselves.
