It’s grown on me.  It has a very Euro soccer team feel to it, makes it different.

Maybe not as bad as "The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" but still pretty goofy.

It's the best alternative to Redskins and I bet Snyder does keep it. -- if they don't pick a new name, they'll still be known as the Redskins to most people, despite what they're "technically" named, and that would seem to be a bit of a "win" for Snyder. I have no issues with it, it's a little awkward to say, but I and pretty much everyone I talk football with still just calls them the Skins. If they did do a full rebrand though and did it properly that would be fine too.

Same.  It's nice that we may be able to only concern ourselves with 14 other teams in the NFC.

FYI: The other news out of Washington is that Dan Snyder is reportedly buying out his minority partners (related to the lawsuits they're facing as I understand it).

The NFL is said to be allowing Snyder to accrue more debt than usual as part of this transaction.

One analyst sees this as a sign that Snyder is not likely to be forced out.
